Escape to the unique experience of "Modern Day Cave Living" at our newly reformed Unique Cave House. With all modern appliances and spacious rooms, our cave house is the perfect blend of modern luxury and natural beauty. Take a dip in our brand new swimming pool, where you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the stunning Sierra de Cazorla mountains.

Our cave house has been reformed to the highest standard with some original features throughout. We've used old railway sleepers to create a rustic yet elegant feel in the kitchen and family area, as well as in the master suite wet-room. The lounge area and master bedroom offer a glimpse into the past, with exposed areas showcasing the water levels from millions of years ago. You can even see the shells and fossils, as well as the layers of rock clay with crystals throughout.

Enjoy the perfect temperature all year round, with the cave maintaining a comfortable 18°C even during the hot summer months. Cozy up by the log burner in the lounge during the winter months, and take advantage of the Samsung Smart 47" TV, Blue Ray DVD player, and Bose speaker system. The dining area comfortably seats six and includes a marble wine holder sourced locally, which holds up to 29 bottles of wine.

All of our beds have feather down duvets and the master bedroom also features a newly fitted log burner, while towels and towelling robes are provided for your comfort. The kitchen family area seats six people and includes a bodega area that seats four, perfect for entertaining or enjoying a family meal. The kitchen is equipped with all new appliances, including a five-burner gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer, and coffee machine.

For our guests with young children, we provide a travel cot and highchair at no extra cost. We also offer a range of console games for all ages, including Nintendo Wii and Nintendo Cube Box, as well as a selection of fun board games, reading books, and DVD films.

Our outside area is extremely private and boasts several seating areas, including a raised terrace where you can relax and take in the breathtaking views. Enjoy outdoor dining with our kitchen area that seats six people or simply escape the heat of the day with a good book.

We're located just 15 minutes away from Mount Jabalcon and the beautiful Lake Negratin, yet secluded enough to offer complete tranquility. The local historic village of Benamaurel, only 4km away, offers numerous cave dwellings, bars serving tapas, local shops, and a pharmacy. Our unique cave house has even been featured on TV, on "Our Dream Hotel," which aired in the UK, Australia, Netherlands, and Sweden. Come experience the magic for yourself at Cuevas Helena!

How do damage deposits work?

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Shirley (the owner) a message.

If Shirley (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
