“Another great holiday!”

Reviewed 3 Oct 2019

Back this time for a week’s holiday after having a weekend last year. Was a perfect getaway for us for our first family holiday with our 4 month old. The cottage is in a fantastic location to get all over the island, and has everything we needed to make ourselves a home from home! Our holiday consisted of lazy mornings, beach, coastal and Forrest walks with the most beautiful scenery (Newbourgh was amazing!!) long lunches in some lovely restaurants, followed by cosy nights in watching films and cooking our evening meal in. It was perfect! Thanks a lot Helen!

Response from the owner Thank you for the wonderful review Louise. We’re so pleased your first family holiday was perfect and thank you for coming back to Hen Gamdda Fawr. We’re so pleased you loved the location and the cottage. You’d be welcome to return any time. Best wishes Helen

“Wonderful Weekend Away”

Reviewed 17 Apr 2019

From first contact Helen (the owner) was more than accomodating for our stay over a long weekend for Mother's Day. My mother and grandmother both absolutely loved the cottage and were delighted at being back in Angelesy after such a long time! The cottage was lovely, there was plenty of space for all five of us (4 adults and a teen). The log fire was a much welcome luxury at the end of day of exploring, and the wifi and smart tv menat the teenager enoyed her time away too. I wouldn't hestitate to come back and visit again. Thanks for a wonderful and memory filled break back in Anglesey!

Response from the owner Thank you for your lovely review. We are so pleased the four generations of your family loved all aspects of Hen Gamdda Fawr cottage and your return to Anglesey has been so special. You would be more than welcome to return. Best wishes Helen
