This beautiful Grande Maison Bourgeois was built in 1906. It has been fully remodeled with all the modern amenities, yet it still has its original charm and characteristics of the early 1900s'. Classic furnishings and modern appliances fill the house with style and elegance. La Grande Maison is located in the beautiful town of Bergerac, in the heart of Perigord Pourpre. It is 5 minutes drive to the Bergerac Airport, and under 10 minutes' drive to the Bergerac Train station. A short 10 minute walk across the Dordogne River, you will arrive at the Port of Bergerac, entrance to the Center Ville. The house is surrounded by 3000 sq. meters of natural garden with lawn, trees, large outdoor dining terrace, BBQ with outdoor kitchen and fire pit. The garden is fitted with all outdoor furniture. The private pool is gated with large sunbathing area, umbrellas, lounge chairs. The pool house has a shower and toilet. On the ground floor, there is a Large Family Room/Kitchen/ Dining area, with AC, a Pantry, Library/Office area, Additional Sitting room, one Bedroom, one toilet, one walk in shower. On the first floor, you have four Bedrooms, with AC, two bathrooms with shower and toilet. Linens, Bath Towels, Pool Towels and Bikes are included with the rental.

Why can't I call Frederic (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Frederic (the owner) a message.

If Frederic (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
