From the owner

A 10 minute drive from Betws y Coed is this 2 Bedroom / 2 en-suite refurbished 16th Century, Grade II Listed stone cottage set in its own courtyard garden. Inglenook fireplace, beamed ceilings and wood burning stove with off road parking for 2 cars. Perfectly situated for walking, biking, sight seeing or just relaxing

Y Neuadd Lwyd is a family run business and as such our primary concern is to ensure our guests experience a genuinely unique cottage which is cleaned and maintained to the highest of standards by the owners themselves. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and aim to provide our guests with a personal touch looking after their every need from the initial booking inquiry, ensuring the cottage is spotlessly clean, the bed linen is washed and ironed to perfection, to greeting guests with a warm welcome and if required showing our guests how to set and light the wood burning stove. NEW for 2021 - We do accept 1 small dog at an additional cost of £30.00 payable in cash on arrival. (Dog must never be left alone/unattended in property or allowed upstairs)

This locally historical Grade II Listed cottage is a former 16th Century tavern which has been extensively modernised internally whilst retaining all of its external period character. On the ground floor, the property has spacious, open plan living accommodation with beamed ceilings, inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove, modern fitted kitchen and separate utility room. The Lounge area leads out onto an extensive decked terrace overlooking a private South West facing courtyard garden with fire pit and the spectacular Snowdonia countryside beyond. Upstairs, the property has 2 stylish double bedrooms both with modern en-suite shower rooms. An additional fold away single bed is also available with bed linen for a nominal charge (suitable for a child). The cottage is approached along a private drive and has ample off road parking for 2 cars. Limitations with wi-fi can occur due to the rural location.

The cottage is within walking distance of the village shop, local pub which serves food and public transport links. Portmerion, Snowdon, Bodnant Gardens, The Welsh Highland Stream Railway, Llandudno, Llechwedd Slate Caverns,Velocity & Titan Zip Wire's and Conwy Castle to name just a few are all within no more than a 40 minute drive by car.

IDEAL FOR FAMILIES - No need to bring the kitchen sink just request the use of any of the following free of charge :- high chair, travel cot, fire guard and stair gate.

Further details
