From the owner

Beautiful newly renovated apartment in the center of Bilbao with WIFI. Sabino Arana Street It complies with all local regulations of the Tourism Department and the City Council. The flat has flat TVs with DVD (selection of movies for adults and children) as well as satellite TV with international channels and Netflix. The beds are very comfortable (we have a tent with beds and mattresses) and there are different types of pillows to choose from or change between the rooms. The apartment is interior like many of the city but it gives to great patio of apple that gives enough natural light to him by the day. Two of the rooms have a double bed of 1.50 and a room with 2 bunk beds (4 single beds). The bunk room does not have windows, but it has a glass window so that natural light enters from the living room and can be opened to ventilate. It is a perfect room for families traveling with children who want to sleep together. In the kitchen all are provided what is needed for cooking, as well as coffee machine (filter and espresso), toaster, juicer, microwave, oven and vitro. Coffee, tea, sugar, salt, oil etc are also provided for late arrivals at night and if you arrive at a party and you can not go to the supermarket, you only need to replace it if you finish something. We have washer-dryer and dishwasher. Leave some washcloth and soap and softener for the washing machine. We are adding things to the floor according to suggestions from guests and with amenities that we would like to receive from us if we were to a similar flat. For example we just added multi-loaders of both Apple and Android devices in the living room and in the bunk room.

Interaction with guest

My husband and I estarmos contact guests before arrival by mail and Whatsapp, on arrival and when guests need during their stay. Arrival is autonomous, we have a system to remotely open the gate and the door of the house upon arrival of guests. No review on our part is needed at the time of departure. Guests can go when they need it and will review the floor after departure. So far we have never found a reason not to return the deposit.

Julie, I just realized I had not answered your sweet comment. I really appreciate that you have enjoyed your stay with us and I agree it was a pity that we could not meet in person. I hope your mom´s surgery went well and she is recovering nicely now so that you can visit again soon and she can this time walk around! Btw we have refurbished the apartment and now we have 2 full really nice size bathrooms with showers both and you would find it a bit even more convenient! Hope we have to opportunity to meet in the future!

Why can't I call Itziar (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Itziar (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Itziar (the owner) a message.

If Itziar (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
