From the owner

This one two bedroom cottage along with the owner's house is all that is on a 30 acre wooded tract of land. Our property is surrounded on three sides by Corps of Engineer property to keep us from being too close to DeGray Lake. Because DeGray Lake is not one in which anyone can live on, the Corps of Engineers provide numerous Federal campgrounds, swim beaches, boat ramps, trails, etc. very close by. The closest lake area to us is Caddo Drive Area. The entrance is approximately 500 feet from our driveway.

DeGray Lake is nestled in the Caddo River Valley in the rolling foothills at the Southern extremity of the Ouachita Mountain Range.

DeGray Lake is one of the finest and prettiest recreational areas in Arkansas.

DeGray Lake Resort State Park facilities include an 18 hole championship golf course, full service marina, sand swim beaches, tennis courts, hiking trails, horseback riding, and a great lake for water skiing, kayaks, and jet skis.

Both Federal and State facilities are available for your use.

Caddo cottage has 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen size and a full size bed to accommodate up to 8 people, including children. (2 adults and up to 2 children 12 and under in each bedroom) One bedroom has a half bath. All beds have a 12" thick pillow top mattress for your comfort. There is a separate living,dining and kitchen area. We offer a 40" flat screen t.v. with a DVD player and satellite. Our kitchen has all full sized appliances including a refrigerator/freezer, stove with oven, microwave, and dishwasher. We also have a coffeemaker, toaster, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. We also furnish dish and dishwasher soap, hand soap and bath soap. we furnish all linens and towels for the cottage. Bring your own towels for the beach. OUR OUTSIDE AREA INCLUDES A HUGE PORCH UNDER ROOF. We have a large picnic table, a porch swing, fancy benches and chairs and a charcoal grill. (Bring your own charcoal) Even if it is raining, you can cook and dine outside. The kids will love our unusual playground equipment including a large swing set with animal swings, climbing bars, a 4 horse round bouncy equipment, and a merry go round with a clown head in the center. The land is cleared right around the cottage but the rest of the 30 acres is still wooded. We have deer walk by our cottage twice a day. It is a gentle reminder that we are sharing their environment. Come to relax and listen to the sound of nature.

We don't split up a Friday and Saturday night, due to the fact we have a 2 night minimum.

Wonderful Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. Close to the lake. Very quiet and lovely, well kept grounds. Look forward to coming back.

Great little getaway for family with kids

As advertised. Kept up and cared for accommodations. Lake access is only minutes away and hot springs is just a short 25 minute drive.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Pat (the owner) a message.

If Pat (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
