Description from owner

Description

An open plan style lounge/bedroom with an additional single room on the upper floor this townhouse is set in the beautiful, unspoilt hidden gem of the Ricote Valley in Murcia's Costa Calida. The town of Blanca (famous for it's Bull Run in August) is approximately 1 hours drive from both Alicante and Murcia Airports or reachable by bus from Alicante via Murcia City. Blanca is the centre of seven towns along the Ricote Valley which runs from Archena in the south (famous since Roman times for it's hot water spas) to Cieza in the north.

If you like busy resorts like Alicante, Benidorm & Malaga this may not be for you but if you like walking, climbing, horse riding and rafting it's perfect! Or just relax and unwind in the beautiful scenery of the Ricote Valley. There is also a bus link to Murcia City (about 20 miles away) and a Railway Station at nearby Cieza. Nearest beaches are San Javier or Los Alcázares. Note there are about 12 steps to the house so may be difficult for people

Location description from owner

The Region of Murcia region

If you are looking for "pie & chips" or all night Karaoke bars, please do not read on. However if you are looking for the "real" Spain, if you want to experience a different way of life and embrace the Spanish culture, then Murcia and the Costa Calida is for you.

If there is a place where the sensitivity of the Moorish culture can still be found it is Valle de Ricote. The twisting irrigated areas, the river and a special charm make this valley a real delight for explorers and people looking for genuine experiences. If you are an enthusiast of good food, cultural visits, and outdoor sports such as hiking, rafting or climbing then you are at the right place.

Blanca

Town house in the antique quarter of Blanca. Just a few minutes walk from the church, theatre, river, castle and town centre. Knowing some basic Spanish would be useful.
