Fifth Ave Katoomba Retreat sits on 1000 square metres with a backdrop to the beautiful Blue Mountains National Reserve and Minni HaHa Falls (all grades bush walk) down the street. It provides a relaxing space for 8 people where you will experience that 'ahhh' moment instantly. All major tourist attractions are within five to ten minutes drive. Or take a quick ride into town by public bus from the top of our street.

You can also park your car at Katoomba Train Station and catch the Hop On Hop Off buses taking you through the picturesque villages of Leura and Katoomba, a great day experience. There are also trips to the world famous Jenolan Caves so you don't have to worry about finding your way there.

Owner operated and maintained, our place is suitable for small groups and the perfect family accommodation with holiday house essentials and little luxuries like shaving mirrors, bath salts, fluffy towels and hotel quality linen – encouraging you to unwind so you focus on time together. It's not too big for couples either.

On check out we entice you to sleep in to recharge your mind and body. Take your time, soak in the view from the deck and breathe in fresh mountain air. The only exception to this is when we have back to back bookings where check out will be at 11am.

Very homely and warm feel to this home. Big enough to entertain with friends and a cozy heater to warm the house up. Lovely beds and fresh sheets. Gorgeous.

Totally enjoyed our weekend. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Kitchen is fully equipped and also good bathroom facilities. Lovely place to visit definitely go back to stay.

Why can't I call Silvana (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Silvana (the owner) a message.

If Silvana (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
