From the owner

Villa Bohinj is located on the edge of the village, slightly elevated above the valley, which gives it the best view in the whole valley. If the weather permits, you can see Triglav, the highest Slovenian mountain and a national symbol. If you are able to take your eyes off the magnificent Triglav you can also see the whole village and have an outlook down the valley towards plateaus and summits surroundings the lake and the ski resort Vogel.

Even thought the Villa is situated on the edge of the valley, its location allows for all the benefits of the village life while at the same time it is peaceful and separated from others.

Villa Bohinj has three floors. The living room and the kitchen are situated on the ground floor while six bedrooms are situated on the other two floors. Each floor has an additional bathroom with toilet. Altogether 13 people can spend the night in the Villa and if necessary additional beds can be arranged. From the living room there is a direct opening to the lawn. In the summer all eating and relaxation can be done on one of the three terraces around the villa.

Throughout the Villa, paintings, mostly drawn by Zdenka Zido, young abstract painter from Slovenia with growing reputation, can be found, which give the villa a very special atmosphere.

On the back side of the house a small hill with pastures can be found which gives the Villa a very special quiet touch, while only a five minutes walk in the other direction (toward the village), one can find several small groceries, shops, restaurants, a cinema, small museum featuring World War I exhibition, an old World War I cemetery and a recently built Aqua park Bohinj.

Why can't I call Petra (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Petra (the owner) a message.

If Petra (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
