Casa das Figueiras is an idyllically situated 3 bedroom villa, which can sleep up to 6, with a magnificent private pool over looking the stunning rural and coastal Algarvian views.

The villa boasts a large open plan living and dining area with high ceilings, exposed wooden beams and French doors opening out onto one of the many terraces overlooking the beautiful mature garden.  We have a log fire, perfect for comfy nights in during the colder season, but in summer the air conditioning ensures a pleasing coolness.  There's also TV and free wifi. The beautiful en-suite master bedroom with king-size bed has patio doors opening on to the terrace and garden, there are also two twin bedrooms and a separate large bathroom.  The kitchen has everything you could need to cook up a wonderful feast which can be enjoyed inside or at any of the three alfresco dining areas over looking the pool and views.  

If you fancy cooking outside we do, of course, have a large built in BBQ and several alfresco eating areas and terraces.  The private pool is 10 x 5 metres with steps and a handrail and has several sun loungers and parasols around it along with a shaded eating area so it's perfect for enjoying the weather.  The pool area is gated.

All the amenities are available inclusive of the price such as wifi, satellite TV,  air conditioning, dishwasher, washing machine and parking space.  Linens and pool towels are provided free of charge.  A cot and high chair are available free of charge should you require them.  Well behaved pets are welcome if notified in advance of booking, subject to an additional £25 cleaning fee (please note pets are not allowed in the pool).  

Casa das Figueiras is located idyllically on a hillside with coast and country views, along a country lane only 2km from Boliqueime village with its shops, bank, pharmacy, bars and restaurants for eating out. The villa is peaceful and relaxing, away from it all, yet only ten minutes drive to wonderful beaches and Vilamoura with a marina, casino, 4 golf courses and all the pleasures of a top resort.  A car is essential.

The villa manager will welcome you at the villa upon your arrival and will help with any questions during your stay so you can rest easily knowing everything will be taken care of!  We can arrange for a small welcome grocery pack if you require, payable directly to the manager upon arrival.

 There is a minimum stay of 7 nights. The changeover day is flexible and we do not do Sunday arrivals.  Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is 10.30am.

The open-plan living room has exposed wooden beams and an attractive farmhouse wood burning closed in fire. There is a dining table for 6 people, comfortable sofas and a number of original paintings on the walls to give a cosy home from home feel. There is satellite TV, DVD and CD player (bring your own along to enjoy). A varied selection of books are available if you wish to catch up on some reading.

The well-equipped kitchen has all the essential items you should need during your stay including a dishwasher, halogen hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and juicer.

All the bedrooms have pretty hand painted furniture in Algarvian style and plenty of storage space.

There is a family bathroom, one en suite in the master bedroom and one ensuite shower in a twin bedroom.

Air conditioning is available free of charge in the living area and all bedrooms.

An outside laundry room is available for your convenience.

Beautiful country views from the terrace and pool area with the sea in the distance - stunning sunsets. Outside, one terrace area is cool and shady, but one another is a sun worshippers paradise.

The attractive garden has jasmine, bougainvillea and roses, a lemon tree and figs. Strategic garden lighting enhances the whole area in the evening when sitting or having a barbecue on one of the several terrace areas, all equipped with appropriate furniture and cushions. The garden is totally screened from the lane by a wall and tall shrubs so is secluded.

The private, gated 10 x 5 metre pool is large with steps leading in to the shallow end with grab rails, the deep end is approx. 2.5 metres.

There is private parking to the side of the villa.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sheila (the owner) a message.

If Sheila (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
