From the owner

When you reserve the Hacienda Apartment you have the entire lower floor of this beautiful space exclusively for your family. There are 2 beautiful bedrooms with queen size beds, two bathrooms with hot water rain showers and a comfortable family room. No sharing your space as it is all for your personal enjoyment.

There is the Terrace Bedroom which opens onto a large covered patio decorated with a variety of cacti and succulents. The outdoor furniture is ideal for eating your morning meal or relaxing from your daily hike. There is hammock for the ultimate Panamanian relaxation experience. Gardens grace the walkway. The room has a queen size bed with the requisite high count sheets and comforter. There is a TV with DVD player. Your private bathroom is a mere five feet from your door. You have free Internet access in The Terrace Bedroom.

Then there is The Garden Suite which is an airy room beautifully appointed with hand crafted wood closets and French doors that open to lush gardens. There is a small sitting room with a television and DVD player. Through the arched window and full light glass French doors, there are beautiful gardens and huge bananas trees. The Garden Suite has linen curtains, plush towels, sheets and comforter for the queen size bed, loads of space to store your things for a long stay and a large bathroom. Internet can be spotty in The Garden Suite but is available in family room.

We have two adult sized single beds that can be brought in to accommodate up to 6 people.

The family room has a small wood dining room table, a couch, coffee table and breakfast station. We provide yoga mats. There is a refrigerator, electric kettle to heat water, toaster and a microwave and small convection oven for guest use.We have dishes, silverware and glassware stored here for guest use. We provide tea and a French press for coffee. We have spring water that we bring to you in ample amounts to make coffee, tea and to enjoy all day. There is ice in the freezer area of the refrigerator. You are welcome to store leftovers in the refrigerator for late night snacks.

The grounds of the Hacienda are open for guests to wander.There are yoga mats in The Breakfast Lounge and we urge you to keep to your normal practice or to start a new routine while enjoying your stay. We have many areas specifically created for reflection surrounded by the extraordinary beauty that abounds in Boquete. There is a mixture of banana plantation, wild jungle and planned garden beds. There are the inevitable suns framing special nooks throughout the property. Colorful concrete benches, comfortable outside furniture, couches, swings and hammocks are discovered as you investigate the grounds. Walk down the colorful steps to the stream area where jungle abundance surrounds you. In certain seasons the small stream becomes a trickle but the path it cuts into the banana jungle is always peaceful and prefect for sharing long conversations, reading that great book or simply sitting in quiet contemplation.

We asked that you quiet down by 10pm for the peace of other guests. Please treat the gardens with respect as you walk around. We ask that children do not pick the orchids as we wait all year for their beauty for our guests. Our cacti might have some prickles so take care with the little ones. (big ones too). You can smoke away from the residence and discards remains in the trash can outdoors, We ask that you smoke and drink responsibly.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ciella (the owner) a message.

If Ciella (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
