Tilly's Cottage is a two-bedroom Cotswold-stone cottage located on a quiet back street. It's in an ideal location for couples who want a quiet haven, but also benefits from being just a stone's throw from the centre of the village and all its facilities. The cottage has all the mod cons including a modern kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. As well as FreeSat TV and a DVD player, there is also free WiFi. The cottage is centrally heated but there is also a cosy log burner in the living room so you can curl up in front of a fire.

We welcome dogs (as long as they are house trained!) and the second bedroom is ideal for children. Parking for two cars is available at the rear of the property. And you can easily walk to the centre of the village within a couple of minutes.

Please note that no smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping is not allowed inside the property.

Saturday to Saturday bookings normally. Short breaks are available - normally for 3 nights or more - except during school holidays, Christmas, New Year, Cheltenham Festival race week and Easter.

A 25 per cent deposit is required if you are booking more than 6 weeks in advance, otherwise full payment on booking. We accept cheques and payments by PayPal. We can also accept direct transfers to our bank account in Sterling or a Sterling Paypal payment (both for a small additional cost) if paying from outside of the UK.

Logs: We make a £10 charge for a pack containing logs, kindling and firelighters for the logburner. Please indicate when booking if you would like a pack.

DOGS: We warmly welcome dogs and charge a simple one-off fee of £15 per stay for a dog/dogs. Please let us know what breed of dog(s) you are bringing so that we can buy an appropriate treat. Please note: We do not allow dogs to be left alone in the property and ask you to kindly keep them off the furniture.

CANCELLATIONS: Please make sure you take out travel insurance in case you need to cancel due to illness or family crisis.

The kitchen has a fridge and freezer; electric hob, microwave, extractor and oven plus that all important dishwasher. There is a washing machine but no tumble drier. The kitchen overlooks the rear courtyard garden. The sitting room has a dining table and chairs for four and two sofas either side of a log burner fireplace. There is a freeSat TV with DVD player. The large front bay window is ideal to sit and watch the world go by.

Upstairs the main double bedroom has high quality bedding, dresser and a built-in wardrobe. The twin bedroom can be made up as one single or two separate single beds and also has a built-in wardrobe.

Linen and towels are provided. The bathroom comprises a bath with shower over, WC and handbasin. The cottage has the latest condenser boiler that provides constant hot water and central heating.

Tilly's Cottage is in a street of Cotswold cottages with its own bridge, green and a ford. The parking for up to two cars is at the rear and is very handy as street parking in Bourton is very restricted. There are front and rear gardens, the latter is South facing so a real sun trap. A table and chairs are provided so you can sit outside. The courtyard garden is fully enclosed so safe for children and dogs. And there are plenty of walks close by to keep those tails wagging!

Linen, towels and heating are included. A welcome pack is also provided. Directions will be sent once full payment is received and cleared.

Dogs welcome for an additional charge of £15 per week.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jo (the owner) a message.

If Jo (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
