Set in 14 acres of woodland and mature gardens and in the heart of beautiful north Cumbria, our newly renovated five star cottages combine exceptional quality with character and charm.

The Old Coach House (sleeps 10) is a spectacular and sumptuous open plan barn conversion, ideal for larger groups and special occasions. Boasting amazing entertaining spaces and packed with contemporary luxuries to make your stay memorable and relaxing.

Large open plan kitchen/dining/lounge ideal for entertaining large groups. The kitchen is fully stocked with two ovens, large fridge and wine cooler. Tucked away in the utility room are microwave, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

The snug is a great place to relax and unwind with a good book and the games room with pool table and retro games console is fantastic for keeping the kids entertained.

All bedrooms described as twin (two single) can be configured as super king size doubles.

The market town of Brampton is a short walk from the cottage. Here you'll find restaurants and pubs, award winning butchers, Cranston's Food Hall and a Patisserie. You'll also find many walking and cycling routes straight from the door and easy access to Hadrian's Wall, the North Lake District, Carlisle and Northumberland.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Emma (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
