Set in 14 acres of woodland and mature gardens and in the heart of beautiful north Cumbria, our newly renovated five star cottages combine exceptional quality with character and charm.

Our three bedroom cottage, Cat's Cradle (sleeps 6), is light and airy with a large open plan lounge, kitchen, dining area and a wall of full height windows providing spectacular views over open countryside. With under floor heating throughout, beautifully appointed en suite bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen including wine cooler, Cat's Cradle is a relaxing and inviting home away from home.

Bedroom 1 has a king size bed with en-suite shower room. Bedroom 2 can be configured as a super king size double or twin room and has an en-suite shower room. Bedroom 3 can be configured as a super king size double or twin room and has access to the house bathroom with bath and shower over. The kitchen is fully equipped with two ovens, large hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and wine cooler.

The market town of Brampton is a short walk from the cottage. Here you'll find restaurants and pubs, award winning butchers, Cranston's Food Hall, bakers and green grocers. You'll also find many walking and cycling routes straight from the door and easy access to Hadrian's Wall, the North Lake District, Carlisle and Northumberland.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Emma (the owner) a message.

If Emma (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
