From the manager

Situated in the heart of the beautiful coastal village of Brancaster, The Old Manor House is an exquisite red brick hideaway a mere 15-minute walk, or 3-minute drive, from the expansive and breathtaking beach that this village is famed for. With sumptuously comfortable interiors, this eccentric and artistic property has been thoughtfully curated to ensure guests experience a memorable Norfolk holiday.

Guests will receive a thrilling reception upon entering The Old Manor House. The charming period features of the exterior conceal a world of fascinating wonder within. The spacious dual-aspect sitting room has been designed as the social hub of the house, with ample seating on leather sofas and armchairs. To the rear of the room the feature bar makes a fun place to hang out, and perhaps serve some experimental home-made cocktails. On cooler evenings, the open fire provides extra warmth and ambient light. The well-equipped kitchen provides all that any enthusiastic chefs might need to rustle up a delicious feast made using the delicious local produce that is available right on the doorstep. Connected by an arch way, the kitchen leads into a fabulous conservatory housing a large dining table with seating for ten guests. Perfect for gathering together to create lasting holiday memories as food, wine, games and conversation are shared. French doors open up onto the handsome gardens, inviting the outdoors in.

Conveniently located on the ground floor, the magnificent master bedroom hosts a double bed and boasts garden access through french doors. This bedroom is served by an en-suite shower room with walk-in shower making it an excellent choice for less mobile guests, or those guests who prefer a bit of space. An additional cloakroom and utility room complete this floor. Upstairs, four further striking bedrooms are presented. Bedroom two provides a king-size bed, and is served by an shower room. Twin beds are offered in bedroom three and bedroom five, with bedroom four hosting a double bed. A family galley bathroom is presented with a large bath and heated towel rails. Curiosities adorn the house throughout, and make for great talking-points.

Outside, the fully enclosed mature garden to the front features mature hedging circumventing well-kept lawn area. Off-road parking for three cars is available on the driveway to the side of the property.

Brancaster Stores and Post Office houses a brilliant deli and coffee shop, as well as stocking plenty of every day goods. Brancaster Village Hall hosts Bar 71 where good times, drinks, friends and fun are served. It is the social heart of Brancaster village offering a licenced, family friendly bar with the cheapest drinks along the coast, and a calendar of monthly events including live music, discos, quiz nights, bingo, skittles and poker tournaments. Adjacent is 5 acres of playing fields, including two full size goals, a children's playground along with equipment designed to help coordination and balance, and a family area with picnic tables. There are also new tennis courts. Brancaster offers something for everyone!
