The barn has been thoughtfully converted to a very high standard to provide comfortable self-catering accommodation in three separate cottages that have to be rented as one unit. Blue Brook- Green Gallop- Red Ridge
Blue Brook has a large glazed dinning area with an oak dining table seating 15 and open plan sitting room so that everyone can eat and socialize together.
In all cottages: Oak floors and staircases and welsh slate complements the original beams and stonework whilst each property benefits from warm terracotta tiles with under floor heating, modern showers and a romantic freestanding bath in Blue Brook. The oak coffee tables & ‘Goldilocks’ style beds have been handmade. Electric induction hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with small freezer, washing machine. Access to a washing machine in Red Ridge and Green Gallop. All good quality bedlinen and towels are provided. Electricity and efficient under floor heating. LCD TV with Sky Freeview and DVD. Ample parking.
Large outdoor area with furniture and BBQ. Large paddock play area. Limited mobile reception. Storage for mountain bikes, canoes and surfboards. Cot and Highchair. Non smoking. No Pets. The River Crai runs at the back of the barns, for this reason the properties are not suitable for young children unless strictly supervised.
The area has abundant wildlife including otters, buzzards and red kites nesting nearby. There are numerous walks from the farm, within a few minutes walk is the picturesque Crai reservoir with Brown Trout fly fishing, the Geo Park area with its glacial lakes, the large Cnewr Estate, forestry and high commons, waterfalls and the Sarn Helen Roman Road popular with mountain bikers.
Brecon is 14 miles, whilst the sandy beaches of the Gower Peninsula are a 45 minute drive. The owners have an extensive knowledge of the local area for those on foot, bicycle or horseback, they also speak Dutch, French and German. The stables are situated close to the cottages, ideal for horse lovers, with stabling available. The Crai river (SSSI) runs alongside the back of the cottages and the large outdoor sitting BBQ area. There are fabulous views over the green rolling hills and river from the kitchen and bedroom windows.

Noise ; in respect to our neighbours down the valley, we ask guests that no loud noise is made outside the cottages. At 23.00hrs we ask the guests and party to be brought inside. No limitation on celebrations inside.
Maximum-total of 15 persons - this number must not be exceeded without permission of the owner.
We do not allow any persons to sleep on the sofas. (Insurance cover - Health and safety – Fire regulations)

Blue Brook
Sleeps 6, 3 bedrooms
Newly fitted and well equipped open plan kitchen with a cooking island. The spacious sitting room with comfortable leather sofas and chairs has an ‘olde worlde‘ feel with hand-made furniture and a particularly lovely oak coffee table. The dining table is set in a light, airy glazed part of the sitting room with a large oak dining table easily able to seat 15 people. The kitchen door opens up to the outdoor sitting area along the river. There is a downstairs shower room with handbasin and toilet. Up a flight of oak stairs to two double bedrooms and a third twin bedroom with the handmade ‘Goldilocks‘ style wooden beds. The spacious bathroom has a free standing ‘roll top‘ bath with toilet and washbasin, with views across the valley.
Red Ridge
Sleeps 5, 2 bedrooms
A well equipped open plan kitchen. The dining area has an oak table and chairs and comfortable new leather sofa and chairs, Downstairs there are warm terracotta tiled floors through-out. Back door to separate outside patio. Up handmade wooden stairs to twin bedroom with ‘Goldilocks‘ style wooden beds and a second bedroom with triple bunk beds, the lower being a 120cm wide bunk and a full size top bunk - sleeps 3 people. Shower room with toilet and handbasin.
Green Gallop
Sleeps 4 - 2 bedrooms
The open plan kitchen is well equipped with ample work and storage space. The living room has comfortable leather sofas and chairs with a beautiful hand-made coffee table from local oak; Downstairs are warm terracotta tiles, shower room with toilet and hand basin. Upstairs, in the first bedroom there are twin handmade ‘Goldilocks’ style beds and in the second bedroom are full size ‘Goldilocks’ bunkbeds.

We have a fire pit next to the river .
It is only a short stroll to the beautiful Crai reservoir
