An hour and a half by train from Expo 2015 offers the possibility to visit the international exhibition by staying in the Green and quiet.
Behind the regional park of Campo dei Fiori ', less than 3 km you can reach the stables where you can do horseback riding.
In the nearby town of Laveno, you can take the boat that brings in the most picturesque places on Lake Maggiore (Stresa, Verbania, Pallanza), doing a fantastic tour in the famous Borromean islands that you can visit.
The cable car running from Laveno, takes you to the top of the Sasso di Ferro (1050 m) and from there you can admire the magical landscape of lakes and the Alps.
To 15 km you can find the Lago Monate with its clear waters for magnificent bathrooms, also the Lake Varese, Lake Como, Lake Lugano, the neighboring Switzerland will give you the opportunity of unforgettable walks everyday.

The Cableway of the Lake Maggiore takes you on the top of the iron Stone mountain (1050 m) from where you can admire the majestic landscape of the Region of the Lakes and the Alps.
At around 15 km you may found the Lake Monate (one of the cleanest fresh water lakes in Europe so perfect for swimming) and the beautiful Lake of Varese.
In addition the Lake Lugano and the Lake Como are the destination for other unavoidable daily trips destinations.
