Beautiful and spacious Chalet in the centre of Briancon in the High Alps - Serre Chevalier 1200. Possible to book catered or self-catered.

Set in a quiet and private location with stunning views of the local mountains and ski pistes (including the night skiing and fireworks of Briancon), the Chalet is just a 10 minute walk to the ski lifts, restaurants, bars and the historic UNESCO walled citadel.

The Chalet has recently been beautifully renovated to a high standard. It has a spacious living room and dining area with log burning stove, large modern kitchen, large balcony terrace with amazing mountain views, jacuzzi and private garden and parking.

5 ensuite bedrooms (one with a bath) all have king size beds that can be split into 2 singles, so the chalet can be arranged to suit all group types up to 10 people, including children.

The chalet is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay including english and French smart TV with netflix and youtube, wifi, dish washer, washing machine and tumble dryer, outside bike/kayak wash area, a large entrance way / storage area and secure ski/ boot room.

The property has a garage dedicated for guest use - perfect for storing bikes, kayaks and motos. It is well equipped with bike repair tools and a bike mechanic (me).

We are located on-site at the chalet in a separate apartment. We are available to help with booking activities, restaurants and are a wealth of knowledge of the town, valley and mountains. A qualified bike guide and over 10 years of experience running a catered chalet we know just the right balance of being on-hand for everything you need whilst not intruding on your holiday time together with friends/family. We are following all local guidelines and Directives regarding the CoronaVirus for our region. The chalet is cleaned and disinfected to these standards. Self-check-in with video assistance and keyless entry is possible. Local healthcare details are available at the chalet. Electric car charge is possible at 80 € per car per week

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Stephen (the owner) a message.

If Stephen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
