Grade II Listed Weeke Barton is now available during the summer holidays and at Christmas and New Year for self catering hire. Perfect for a family celebration or group of friends and we are dog friendly. This really is a super house for a large family or group of friends looking for a quiet peaceful location, surrounded by large lawn gardens and with a quirky mix of modern and rustic interior design.

With 5 gorgeous en suite rooms all with views over the garden and surrounding countryside. Lounge and dining room both with wood burning stoves. The property also boasts a snug with bar, great for entertaining and playing host! With full Wi-fi throughout the house, flat screens with attached DVD players (no TV signal) in every bedroom and a Sonos music system installed throughout downstairs. The farmhouse kitchen with its large central island is perfectly equipped to deal with all your catering needs. Two large double ovens, 2 hobs, salamander grill and microwave, enough pots and pans to deal with your small army, along with Kitchen Aid mixer and blender you should find everything you need.

Set in 5 acres of its own gardens with Petanque pitch for afternoon competitiveness, cosy corner with outdoor wood burning stove and lighting, the perfect place to watch the amazing night skies. Tucked away at the bottom of the garden lies a homemade den set by a small stream, where the kids will spend much mucky time.

Exclusive use is based on all five rooms, 10 adults with space for 4 extra beds. With wild adventures and walks to be had right from the door or dartmoor and the coast no more than 30 mins away, come and enjoy time with your friends or family in style in a truly beautiful location.

Thanks for the lovely review and hope the rest of travels went well. Sorry to hear your son doesn't like dogs, we had no idea. If we had known we would not have let them out and about. With regards to our property - we do live in an attached part of the building ( almost the end terraced house! ) but as you said go away when it is rented exclusively on a self catered basis. We returned just before you left and were not really aware of your presence as we have our own entrance, drive and garden. The wall's are also very thick in the property. !!! Why can't I call Joanne (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Joanne (the owner) a message.

If Joanne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
