From the owner

Northend Farmhouse is a pre 1600 thatched building with historic and modern features like: Inglenook fireplace, bread oven and mullion windows combined with plenty of outdoor space, modern comforts and conveniences including large flat screen tvs, mp3 stations and web access, create the ideal place for large family holidays and celebration weekends.

6 bedrooms provide versatile arrangements for 14 people. There are 2 family bathrooms, 2 ensuite shower wc rooms. The downstair ensuite bedroom is adapted for the less able and it is possible for a wheelchair to access every room downstairs.

By separate arrangement we also have on the farm:

The converted 1920's Cricket Pavilion that is an ideal romantic retreat with the most amazing views, central heating, a woodburner and it sleeps 2 +1.

The Old dairy is also converted into a charming dwelling for 2 +1 with amazing views, central heating and a woodburner.

The Old Cider House has 2 double bedrooms (1 ensuite) a shower and wc and a bunk room upstairs. Downstair there is an large open plan kitchen diner with a snug (with a very comfy sofa bed) and a shower and w.c..

The Cabin is a beautifully located wooden hut with a woodburner, shower and compost loo.

Occupants of the farm can also enjoy open access to the higher level stewardship 100 acre farm, the lake and garden. Well behaved pets are welcome. Extra people can stay by arrangement.

There is easy access to footpaths like the Monarchs way, the Jurassic world heritage coast and beaches.

Lyme Regis has mackerel fishing boats for hire, world class restaurants, Hix restaurants, a cinema, a wealth of shops, the marina theatre and the excellent Lyme bay Bakery.

Bridport has a twice a week street market, electric palace cinema and music venue, arts centre, leisure centre, a vintage market, the St Michaels arts district, The Bull hotel, Palmers Brewery, countless pubs, it's seaside port of West Bay and many shops..

Chideock village is 1 mile away, has 2 pubs, 2 churches, a cider house, a farm shop, tea houses, a convenience store and a post office.

Why can't I call Eddie (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Eddie (the owner) a message.

If Eddie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
