Roses On The River is situated on the Ovens River, a three minute walk to Bright township along the scenic Canyon Walk.

Roses on The River is set in an established rose garden with absolute river frontage. The spacious two bedroom house is fully self contained. Roses on The River provides a complete opportunity to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the beauty of Bright and surrounds. A Wheel chair and disable friendly property.

When was the last time you didn't stop to smell the roses?

Thank you so much for the personal touches such as message board, Happy Birthday signs and fresh flowers, not to mention the wine and chocolates. This place is absolutely perfect with everything you could need. It is such a homely place and we love the colour scheme.

The gardens are beautiful and you couldn’t be in a better location with the beautiful Ovens River and not too far for guests to walk into town. Mum and Dad had a wonderful holiday seeing the sights but I think they enjoyed the house so much more.

We have stayed in lots of places in Bright and honestly this is the nicest place we have stayed in. We will be back..Thanks again. Mick

Master Bedroom:-

A Queen size bed in a spacious carpeted room with all linen, cosy pillows and blankets,TV, DVD. Ensuite with shower, vanity and toilet - all providing wheelchair access. Mirrored built in robes and sofa.

Second Bedroom:-

A queen plus single bunk bed. Also a seperate single bed in a light and restful room. Room can accommodate four. Built in robes, TV, all linen with doonas and blankets. A high chair and porta cot can be provided.

Third bedroom-

A single bed with built in closet. Garden views.

Living:-

Spacious open living with combined and comfortable eight seat dining on polished hardwood floors. Split system heating and air conditioning. Wide screen smart television, DVD/VCR, CD & Ipod player. Comfortably furnished with a relaxing lounge and complimentary decor. Wifi Internet and Netflix, Stan and others available if you have an account.

Kitchen:-

Fully appointed with electric stove and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. All utensils and cooking implements. Coffee plungers, toaster and kettle. Breakfast bar, stools and ample cupboard space.

Laundry:-

Fully automatic washing machine, dryer, iron and board.

Bathroom/Toilet:-

Shower, vanity and separate toilet.

Patio-

Outdoor setting for dining and relaxing in the front garden. Portable BBQ.

Parking:- Secure large garage and carport.

With swimming, fishing or river relaxing adjacent to the property, all guests can delight in the absolute river frontage.

Walk through the rose garden to "Farrington's Poplars" that line the scenic Canyon Walk that takes you safely and unhindered within 5 minutes into the Bright township to shop or dine.

With a myriad of activities, including golf, canoeing, gold panning, bush walking, snow skiing and boarding and the joys of autumn, winter & spring colours, the Alpine region of Bright and surrounds offers a truly four season experience. Easy driving distance to enjoy the vistas and National Park of Mt. Buffalo.

Roses on the River provides the comfort of home living for adults and any accompanying children.

A three night minimum booking is required. 3 nights for long weekends.

Arrival from 3.00pm. Departure by 10.00am to assist in meeting management schedules.

Base tariff is based on 2 adults using the master bedroom only. If using a bed in the second or third bedroom the additional nightly guest per bed/person charge applies. Extra adults or children are $30/night/bed for the duration of the confirmed booking

Why can't I call Rod (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Rod (the owner) a message.

If Rod (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
