This large and luxurious apartment is beautifully decorated throughout in peaceful shades of Dove Grey, Silver and White. You will love all the fabulous period features of this Regency Apartment, from the ornate fireplace in the lounge to the high ceilings, sash windows and chandelier lighting, but you will enjoy all the modern comforts of a double shower room, new kitchen, smart TV and wi-fi! This sunny apartment comfortably furnished to accommodate 6 people (plus a cot for a baby if required) and we love families - A high chair, baby bath, toys and books are all supplied to make your little ones feel at home and a cot cam be put in the first bedroom on request.

This apartment is on the ground floor making it easy to access and great for families as the only steps are the 2 to the front door and after that it is all on one level. The front door leads to a grand and generous hallway which has a large mirror and plenty of room to hang coats etc. This has doors off to all the other rooms in the apartment.

To the left is the magnificent living space which has 2 huge sash windows in the bow fronted bay at the front of the property which let light flood into the room. The cast iron and tiled fireplace has a beautiful silver mirror above it and the room is lit by an ornate chandelier. The room is decorated in Laura Ashley wallpaper and paint in white and dove grey. You can relax on the two large sofas, one of which can fold out to be an additional bed, and enjoy the touches of colour and fun in the luxurious cushions, accessories and bowler hat light over the dining table. The room is very spacious and is an open and sociable living space flowing from the sofas to the dining area and on to the smart and modern kitchen. To the left of the fireplace is the smart tv and to the right is a large table and 4 comfortable upholstered dining chairs (there is another matching chair in each bedroom which can be brought in to seat groups of 5-6). The space flows through to the new high spec kitchen which has dove grey units, a toaster, kettle, microwave, oven, hob and everything that you might need to self cater in comfort. A full range of crockery, glassware and cutlery is supplied along with pots and pans, cafetiere etc. Tea and coffee will be in the cupboard for you to use and we will leave some milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge to welcome you! The washing machine is in a large cupboard off the hallway to keep it out of the living space and it incorporates a tumble drier.

The two bedrooms lead off to the right from the hallway, the first has a large box bay with sash windows dressed in silver grey curtains. There is a double bed with an ornate upholstered headboard, a large mirror, bedside tables and lights, a chair and storage rail to hang clothes. There is space for a cot if required. Both bedrooms have chandelier lighting, pocket spring mattresses and luxury cotton bedding. The second bedroom has a double bed, mirror and chair. This room also has a built in wardrobe space.

The modern and newly fitted shower room has an extra large shower enclosure with double rain and hand held shower heads. There is a toilet, basin, vanity unit and heated towel rail. The shower room and kitchen area have tiled floors and the rest of the apartment is newly carpeted in a deep silver grey carpet.

Children are welcome in this apartment so if you are travelling as a family please let us know the ages of your children so that we can put some toys out for them if they are little. There is no charge for bringing children under 2 years old and there is a high chair and baby bath in the apartment. If you would like a cot made up please let me know, and I will be pleased to have this all ready for you for a small £20 charge. I can also arrange babysitting if required for £8.50 per hour (£10 after midnight) by my daughter aged 17. She is an experienced babysitter and loves children.

Prices for 4 people are based on the 2 double beds in the bedrooms being made up. If you are a group of 4 or less but would also like the sofa bed made up please let me know, there is a £20 charge for this. If you book for 5 people the price including the sofabed is automatically calculated.

The best way to travel to this apartment is by train or coach as you will be able to walk to all the main attractions Brighton has to offer and Brighton is well served by public transport if you want to go further. There is a well stocked taxi rank outside the front of Brighton Station and the apartment is just a short cab ride. Both coach stations are about 10 minutes walk from the apartment. If you will be driving though please see the 'Getting There' section for help with parking.

Please be aware that this apartment is very centrally located and Brighton is a very vibrant city so there may be some noise from neighbours and the city.

Very nice apartment, clean and up to date. Not too big but good enough for 4 people. Owner Katharine was very helpful ans responded very quick on our questions. Recommended for families up to 4.

We had a wonderful stay in Brighton. We were there to visit our daughter who has just started University and we had a warm comfy home to stay in. Katherine was amazing to deal with. Perfect.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Katharine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
