Drunken Sailor is a charming Grade II listed Fisherman's Cottage located in the heart of Brixham just a 2 minute walk from the town’s bustling harbour. 

The cottage offers plenty of charm and original features including its stable entrance door, pine wood flooring, sash windows and exposed stone walls in the lounge and bedrooms. Arranged over three floors, the cottage sleeps a party of five in its three bedrooms and is pet friendly.

Outside, the enchanting garden with its traditional stone walls and terraced levels has a decked seating area to enjoy a BBQ and a cold drink in the sun. The Cottage is also next door to one of the oldest and best pubs in the local area, the Manor Inn, serving a great selection of Gins (5 star Rating on Trip Advisor).

Drunken Sailor is excellently situated in the heart of Brixham. All of the town’s local amenities, shops and restaurants are on the front door step less than a minutes walk from the town centre. 

The cottage also includes a complimentary permit to Brixham Central Car Park (less than a minute’s walk) which can also be used in several other car parks in the Torbay area - a great perk for when you are out visiting the local attractions.

Living Rom:

-TV with Amazon Fire Stick with Netflix available, Bluetooth speaker, electric fire. 

Kitchen:

Gas oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, washer/dryer.

Family Bathroom:

-Bath with overhead electric shower, hand basin, w.c.

First Floor: 

-Bedroom 2 Twin beds (3'), chest of drawers, bedside cabinets.

-Bedroom 3 Single (3'), built in wardrobes. Access to the rear garden is from this bedroom.

Second Floor:

-Bedroom 1 King size (5'), bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, TV, bean bags. 

Garden:

The garden is accessed via the third bedroom. Garden and decked area are enclosed and on multiple levels, garden furniture is provided.

Parking:

A complimentary Car Park Permit is provided with all stays at the Drunken Sailor. The permit is registered Online prior to your stay and can be used in Brixham Central Car Park (1 min walk from the cottage) plus over 30 other Torbay Council Car Parks in the area.

Please be aware that Brixham Central Car Park has a 3 hour maximum stay restriction from the 21st March to 20th November from 8.00am - 6pm daily. There are no restrictions outside of these time periods. You are free to re-enter the car park after the 3hr restriction on the grounds you use a different car parking space.

The nearest Long Stay car park is Oxen Cove which is a 5 min walk from the cottage. You are able to leave your car here 24hrs a day, 7 days a week all year round and is also included on the permit.

Limited on-street car parking is also available opposite the property entrance. Please provide car registration and colour when booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Saltwater (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
