The living area is spacious and light with dual aspect windows overlooking the marina and harbour. For your entertainment there is complimentary Wi-fi, a 40" LCD TV with Free-view, a DVD/Video player along with a CD/radio player. The kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, double oven, gas hob with hood, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. A balcony with seating for two is situated directly off the kitchen. The apartment is beautifully laid out with three bedrooms; a master bedroom with en-suite features dual aspect views to the rear and towards Brixham town. There are integrated wardrobes, a double bed, two three drawer bedside units and a dressing table. There is also a chest of drawers and a LCD TV with Free-view. The second bedroom has twin 3' single beds with a three drawer unit in between, built-in full height wardrobes and a chest of drawers. Finally, there is another twin room with single beds, a three drawer bedside unit in between and wardrobe / drawer unit. All of the bedrooms have clock/radios. The apartment features a family bathroom with an electric shower fitted over the bath, w.c., shaver-point, wash basin and folding shower screen. The second (en-suite) bathroom is fitted with corner shower, w.c. and wash basin, shaver point and heated towel rail. Brixham has much to offer with a wide range of eateries and pubs all within easy walking distance. The nearest beach is just a short stroll away, and a little further along is Shoalstone open air sea-water pool (free admission) which opens seasonally. The apartment is positioned right by the sea on the South West Coast Path, so pack your walking boots if you wish to experience the breath-taking scenery along this beautiful coastal trail which encompasses an area of outstanding natural beauty. Around the harbour in summer you'll find kiosks selling tickets for pleasure cruises and even deep sea wreck fishing, or if you prefer a slightly larger boat - visit the famous Golden Hinde. Travelling a little further afield, you can take a trip on an open top bus to Paignton or Torquay (seasonal), or if you prefer, jump aboard one of the frequent ferries that leave from the end of the pier. Perhaps for a full day out you'd enjoy the 'Round Robin' - a bus, steam train and boat trip visit to Dartmouth, or if landscape is more to your liking, visit nearby Dartmoor, but don't forget to stop for a Devon cream tea before making your way back. There are several National Trust properties near to Brixham, all easily reached by car. Probably most notable is Greenway House, once the home of Agatha Christie. Torbay has many places to visit, all within easy reach; Paignton Zoo, Torre Abbey, Cockington Village, and Berry Head Country Park to name but a few. For slides and zip-lines, don't miss Woodlands Adventure Park, or the River Dart Country Park - suitable for kids aged 0 - 90. Brixham also has several annual festivals which really are a must. The Pirate Festival, ah-argh, takes place in May, while the international Trawler Race is held every June. Fishstock food and music festival is also held annually, but you'll receive a warm welcome from the locals whatever time of year you visit. Many local pubs feature live music and there is a great choice of places to eat, all within close walking distance. There really is something to suit all tastes in an around the Brixham area.
