Rafters is an award winning fully self-contained one bedroom apartment on the first floor of a Cotswold Manor House dating back to the 16th century. Rafters (sleeps max 2 adults) is rurally located in the beautiful Cotswold village of Broadway, the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds'. Set in several acres at the foot of the Cotswold escarpment Rafters is just a few minutes' walk from the centre of the beautiful village of Broadway.

Rafters is located above a converted coach house attached to the manor house and is accessed by a single flight of stairs (with its own private entrance).

Accommodation comprises:

● Vaulted sitting/dining room with original oak beams and views across the surrounding grounds of several acres towards Broadway Tower on top of the Cotswold escarpment. Leather sofa and armchair, HD TV with DVD player, dining table with 4 chairs.

● Fully-equipped kitchen area with electric fan oven and hob, microwave and fridge with freezer box (further freezer space available on site).

● Vaulted beamed double bedroom (4'6"bed) with en-suite bathroom (bath with over-bath power shower).

● Use of grounds (with wooded area, stream and ponds), free WiFi, parking, information room (with local maps and guide books) cycle store and drying room with 2 washing machines, tumble dryer and drying cupboard (for walking/golf clothes etc).

● Further parking available on site with electric vehicle charging point.

Situated in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Cotswold Way and the Wychavon Way, Rafters is an ideal holiday apartment for walkers but will also appeal to those wishing to sight see, cycle or just relax and enjoy the surrounding beautiful countryside.

Rafters is let on a weekly or short break basis. Weekly lets have a start day of either a Friday or a Monday. Short breaks are also available: 3 nights Friday to Monday or 4 nights Monday to Friday. If you wish to rent Rafters for a short break or with a Monday changeover please contact us.

Rafters is located in grounds of several acres with other properties run by Broadway Manor Cottages at The Manor House.

Thank you for your review of your recent stay in Rafters and I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay and our peaceful location on the edge of Broadway. Unfortunately Rafters is our only property without either a dishwasher or washing machine in the property due to limited space in the kitchen, hence the two washing machines, tumble dryer and drying cupboard in the stone barn for our guests staying in Rafters and the two other cottages on site without their own washing machines. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

We’ll automatically charge the balance payment to the same payment method 10 days before it’s due. Go to Manage my holiday booking to see when the payment will be taken.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Broadway Manor (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Broadway Manor (the owner) a message.

If Broadway Manor (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
