One day free stay, Wifi, Eveything thing you could need! Our Raday Unit is located in Raday Utca (street), Budapest which is known as the street of restaurants in central Budapest - the nearest food and entertainment is literally next door.
There are many shops in the local area. For simple necessities such as milk and bread, there is a Spar supermarket a three minute walk to the right from the front door. There are also several convenience stores in Raday Utca. For a better range of gourmet food, the famous Central Market is just six minutes walk from our front door:
Budapest also has one of the best public transport systems in Europe and it makes getting around the city a delight. You can access all parts of Pest and Buda using the network of trams, metros and buses with ease. We would suggest buying a general transport pass from one of the information booths in Vorosmarty Square or any main metro station. The transport pass will allow you to use any transport system for 24hr, 3days, a week, month or three months, depending on the ticket you buy.
The nearest tram and metro stop at Kalvin Ter is a three minute walk up Raday Utca to the left. From Kalvin Ter you can use tram 47 or 49 to take you north to the city centre or south west to take you across the river to Buda. The metro line M3 and M4 at Kalvin Ter will also take you further north or south east. From the square in front of the Central Market, you can also catch the delightful No 2 Tram which goes along the bank of the Danube.
As you can see from the photos, the unit has everything you could need with high quality German dish washers etc, antique Hungarian furniture and high quality bedding and decoration. It has 1 lounge (dining and bed room),1 kitchen, 1 bath room and 1 balcony. 3 people can sleep in the unit comfortably (1 double bed and 1 single sofa beds). The flat is in a 120 year old classical antique building with original wood flooring; 1meter thick walls, 3.6 meter high ceilings and a roof terrace, which makes it very spacious and comfortable to live quietly. We have written a flat manual which will tell you all the best things to do around the city. We have a local house carer to handle the keys and we also arrange airport pick up if required.
Hungary is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and is called the Paris of Eastern Europe. However, it is much cheaper than Paris or London, as Hungarians still use their own currency - 1 Euro currently equals 300 Hungarian Forint (HUF). Food, beverages, entertainment and transport are typically half the cost of the UK, France or Germany, with often better quality.
Welcome to Hungary and to our Rady unit. We can 100% guarantee that you will have a memorable stay.
Owner Mike is a former military pilot and author of the novel "Strela".
