From the owner

'Crooklets Reach' is a detached 3 bedroom bungalow in the Flexbury area of Bude. Ideally located within a 10 minute stroll to the beaches and coastal path with a similar walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. The free use of a Private Beach Hut at the Bude Seapool is included.

The accommodation is all on one level and is very suitable for young children; with a good sized, fully enclosed and secluded rear garden, child friendly and largely laid to lawn with a patio area. There is a double width driveway with parking for 2 cars. There is a large entrance porch with plenty of space for coats and shoes etc.

Linen and towels are provided. We do request that guests supply their own Beach/Swimming towels.

Saturday changeover. Arrival 4pm - Departure 10am

The property has full gas central heating and there is an electric wall fire in the lounge. The road is quiet with minimal traffic and the property is very accessable for young and older guests alike.

The living room is open plan into the kitchen and dining area, allowing all the guests to be together throughout your stay. In addition to the central heating, the electric fire provides a cosy feel to cooler evenings.

There is a Smart TV with associated DVD player. There is also an HDMI lead ready should you wish to plug in a digital streaming device or similar.

The property is equipped with a dishwasher, freezer, washing machine, dryer, fridge, microwave, electric halogen hob and electric oven.

The master double bedroom with en-suite shower room has a fresh interior and plenty of storage; this room is perfect for your relaxing holiday break. The spacious twin room has two full sized single beds, there is also plenty of storage with a large wardrobe and drawers, allowing you to fully unpack. Bedroom 3 has a full size bunk bed, this bedroom is recommended for children or younger adults with storage available in a chest of drawers. All bedrooms are newly carpeted.

A highchair and travel cot are available and a childs safety (Lindham) bed rail is also provided for use in a single bed or lower bunk bed.

Most rooms have USB charging points for your use. Free Internet access via WiFi is provided.

Both bathrooms have heated towel rails, toilets and washbasins. The main Bathroom also has a shower over the bath. Bathroom 2 has a shower and is en suite with the main bedroom or via a door from the hallway for general use.

The property is always professionally cleaned between holiday lets. Fresh linen and towels are included but we do request that you supply your own swimming/beach towels. In the case of stays of more than one week please discuss your requirements regarding a change of linen/towels or a mid-stay clean.

Rental is inclusive of all Gas, Electric and Internet charges. There are no additional charges for highchair or travel cot.

The property is ideal for families.

Strictly no pets, not suitable for group bookings or events.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Den and Carole (the owner) a message.

If Den and Carole (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
