Bedroom with a bamboo four post-bed, mosquito net, en-suite western toilet & shower, and a balcony looking directly the beautiful calm jungle & river view - gives you a tranquil & authentic sumatran jungle holiday. Great place, great view of the river. Best suits for individuals, couples, family looking for a quiet, serene, and high quality break. 20 minutes moped ride up in to the forest.

Start your jungle adventure with Irwan, a 20-year experienced orangutan trekker in Bukit Lawang (licensed), who particularly knows how to handle Mina, a well-known aggressive female orangutan, as he had been involved observing orangutan's behaviour, including Mina's, in an academic research.

Include in the room price:

We serve on order:

> light breakfast (banana pancake, toast with eggs, fried rice) with coffee/tea, of idr 25k/portion/person.

We can arrange a jungle trekking from 1 up to 30 days adventure in both multi-sport adventure & soft adventure tour.

Trek price information from the Indonesian Guide Association, Bukit Lawang:

3 hours jungle trekking, €25/person, minimum 3 persons.

1 day jungle trekking, €35/person, minimum 3 persons.

2 day jungle trekking, €60/person, minimum 3 persons.

3 day jungle trekking, €85/person, minimum 3 persons.

4 day jungle trekking, €125/person, minimum 3 persons.

5 day jungle trekking, €145/person, minimum 3 persons.

1 day Tangkahan tour for Sumatran elephants and help with elephant wash, €70/person.

Extra €10/person if you combine with traditional tube rafting on your way back from the jungle to Bukit Lawang village.

The price includes all permit and entrance fee to the park, fully licensed guide fee, meals, tent & refreshment.

The jungle treks normally run for groups of 3, if you are one - two persons, you may be joined up with other group, or you pay for three persons if you wish to have the trek privately.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Irwan (the owner) a message.

If Irwan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
