This Sport Chalet is a classic mountain dwelling in the Giant Mountains. It is situated in a very quiet and sunny valley near a stream, 2.5 km from the Jizera River. A new addition (in the same style) was built onto the original house. The five spacious and comfortable bedrooms, large common room with wine refrigerator as well as possibly with draft beer, three bathrooms with 5 showers, a game room and sauna room make this house a large and comfortable accommodation for up to 24 persons. Around the house there is a garden with a fireplace and a furnished terrace. In short, a quiet and romantic place where you can enjoy a relaxing holiday. The house has parking for approximately 5-6 cars.

Interior

On the veranda you will find shoe racks because you have to wear slippers in the house. On the ground floor there is a congenial, common area, which is also used as a dining room. This room is an original room dating from 1876. Here you will find a satellite TV, fireplace and a beer dispenser. The kitchen is equipped with dishes and cutlery, fridge / freezer, electric stove, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, coffeemaker, radio with CD player and a washing machine. The two bathrooms are equipped with a total of 4 showers, 4 washbasins and 2 toilets. For children there is a separate game room, ideal even when the weather is not so good. On the 1st floor there are three bedrooms with a total of 4 double beds and 4 single beds. Next, there is a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. On the 2nd floor you will find two bedrooms with a total of 3 double beds and 4 single beds. From 2012 you can use an infrared sauna for 3-4 people. On request you can use the wood-fired bathing vat - hot tub.

Surraundings

he chalet is located in the Giant Mountains National Park which has magnificent and protected nature. In the vicinity there are numerous marked hiking and biking paths which run through the mountains and past some good restaurants. From the famous Dvoračky mountain cabin you have a magnificent view (5 miles). For equestrian enthusiasts, the Manege Kašparka is in the vicinity (500 meters). You can swim at a variety of places: there is a swimming pool in Jablonec and a natural bath in the woods at Vysoké (6 km), a swimming pool in the tourist area of Rokytnice (5 km), an indoor pool with sauna in Jilemnice (15 km), and last but not least, a unique water park, the largest in the Czech Republic, in Licerec (46 miles). Hardy swimmers can take a leap into the cool Jizera River (16 ºC)! In the spring this river is used for whitewater sports. The most difficult route is between Harrachov and Rokytnice. From the campsite in Jablonec it is a slight stretch. In Jablonec there is a sports park in the woods with two football fields (grass and arts), a volleyball court, swimming pool and two tennis courts. In Jablonec you can also experience the excitement of motor racing on a secure and covered indoor track. Obviously you must have the appropriate clothes: mask, coveralls and protector and a helmet. In Vysoké na Jizerou (6 km) there is a bowling alley. In this part of the Czech Republic you do not get bored.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Simona (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
