Ramblers is a beautiful semi detached 1920s cottage in a fantastic location looking out into the open forest. Renovated in 2014 to a high standard and located near Burley which is arguably one of the most beautiful villages in the New Forest. There is plenty to do in Burley with an array of unusual shops, cafe's, cycle hire and horse riding, seasonal wagon rides and deer safaris. There are 3 pubs within approximately a mile and a golf course 5 minutes by car. Burley is also only 20 minutes by car from the sea at Highcliffe or 5 minutes further to Christchurch.

BEDROOMS

The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with two single beds which can be made up into a super king upon request. There is plenty of storage in each bedroom.

KITCHEN DINER

The kitchen is modern and bright consisting of a fan oven and gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron, ironing board, DAB radio. The kitchen cupboards offer plenty of storage space and contain all the kitchen equipment you will need. There is an open plan dining area next to the kitchen which has a large oak table and six chairs.

LOUNGE AND SITTING ROOM

Next to the dining area is the lounge comprising a super comfy sofa and two armchairs, smart TV and an easy to use log burner for those cozy nights in. Logs can be found from the wood store in the garden. There is a separate sitting room with a beautiful view over open forest, sofa, armchair, smart TV and Hifi with an earphone jack for connecting mobile devices such as I-pod.

BATHROOMS

There is a fully fitted bathroom upstairs consisting of a bath with overhead shower, sink and toilet Downstairs you will find a shower room with sink and toilet.

STAIRCASE

Whilst the staircase is not dangerous, it is quite steep, which is typical for a property of this age. There are grab handles either side of the staircase. There is no stairgate at the top of the stairs and for this reason we will not be able to accept bookings with children under the age of five.

GARDEN/OUTSIDE SPACE

The attractive gardens to the back and side of the cottage have lovely outdoor seating areas, perfect for summer dining. There is also a lockable shed for storing bikes,

There is parking for two cars.

Wake up in the morning to views of the open forest where horses, cows or deer will be grazing. Get on your bike, walk or go for a drive through the forest. There are lovely walks and cycle tracks on your doorstep. Bikes can be stored in our garden shed.
