From the owner

Whiskey View new to the rental market in 2016, the propertys name comes from the fact that the rear of the property has views of the famous Bushmills distillery and the village of Bushmills is a 5 minutes walk away to the centre, where there are numerous coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. It is the perfect house for family holidays, there is a separate spacious kitchen, dining snug area separate from the living room meaning the kids can have their own space with TV for dvds, gaming or just chilling. The living room is a great size with two large couches to relax, there is doors leading to the outside area were there is an enclosed paved garden with plenty of room for barbecuing and entertaining. The house is ideally suited for up to 4 adults and a maximum of 4 children (kids bunk beds in second bedroom suitable up to 10 years old). The master bedroom is roomy with an en suite. The second bedroom is a family room and has a double and a shorty bunk bed perfect for young familes. The third bedroom has single beds ideal for the kids or teenagers.

The village of Bushmills has great buzz about it with local shops, green grocers, butchers, coffee shops and beautiful restaurants all within 5 minutes walking of the house. Of course the famous Bushmills Distillery is on the door step and you can take a tour of the factory showing the process and sampling of the whiskey at the end of the tour.

The Great North coast is only 5 minutes drive away with attractions like the Giants Causeway or the Carrick a Rede rope bridge on your door step and some of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland no more than 10 minutes away. There is also numerous golf courses close to the house and the famous Royal Portrush (2019 Open host) 10 minutes from the house. Belfast is only 40 minutes drive away and the same for Londonderry around 30 minutes drive.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Steven (the owner) a message.

If Steven (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
