Modern penthouse with sea views and large roof terrace located in Playa de Orihuela, Costa Blanca, at only 200 m. (about 5 minutes walking) from the Cabo Roig beach, which is one of many Blue-flag beaches around. Huge shopping area called Zenia Boulevard is 2 km away. Many restaurants, shops, pubs and bars are located very close to the apartment building.The flat is located on the top (third) floor with easy lift access. It has a private parking space in the underground parking. The apartment is fully air-conditioned and composed of 2 bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, living/dining room, open-plan kitchen, balcony and a huge roof terrace. Cabo Roig

Cabo Roig is a famous resort situated on the Costa Blanca, forming part of the coast of Orihuela. It's a well-situated resort, allowing you to fly into both Alicante or Murcia airports, which are both respectively 40 and 20 minutes drive.

Cabo Roig boasts a fine blue flag beach with great facilities for both families with children, and those looking for water sports.

The local cuisine is typically that of the Costa Blanca, which combines delicacies from both land and the Mediterranean Sea. Many civilizations have lived in this area (Celts, Iberians, Greeks, Romans and Muslims), all of which have left their mark on the gastronomy.

The diet is a healthy Mediterranean one; the Costa Blanca is rich in fish, vegetables, olive-oil, rice and fruit and the ingredients which are all used to prepare delicious, healthy dishes, such as Paella Valenciana, Arroz Negro (black rice), Arroz al horno (Oven baked rice), Arroz a banda (fish and rice stew), Arroz del Señoret (Princes rice).

Aside from seafood, typical dishes include succulent lamb chops, rabbit in garlic, roast leg of lamb with garlic and fresh rosemary, and homemade sausages and black puddings.

If you have a sweet tooth then you will enjoy the local homemade pastries and deserts that the region is famous for and Jijona ice cream (Nougat), which is made with the almonds of the region. Whilst in the area we recommend that you try the local wine selection on offer, especially Jalon wine, which is of high quality with a lovely bouquet.

There are many international restaurants in the town offering a wide choice of different cuisines from around the world. The area is a popular resort for both British and Irish holiday-makers, as well as Scandinavians.
