In the heart of the historic centre of Cadiz, in an unbeatable location, between the popular central market and the elegant Calle Ancha is the recently renovated apartment “La Nube de San Miguel”. The recent renovation has combined the original elements such as the tiled floor and timber beams with contemporary furniture and good quality equipment, creating a comfortable and relaxing space for your holidays.

As a precaution, for both guests and cleaning staff, in addition to the recommended additional disinfection, the property will remain closed for a minimum of 52 hours between guests.

It consists of the main space consisting of the living / dining room, a large double bedroom with balcony, well equipped kitchen and a bathroom.

It is located on the 4th floor of a typical 18th century merchant house, just below the watch tower where the traders viewed the incoming boats bring spices and gold from India and the Americas.

The communal roof terrace offers 360 º views over the city, and as many buildings in the centre, this protected historic building has no lift; access from the street is by staircase from a central patio, typical of the area.

La Nube de San Miguel has good natural light and is a perfect place to discover the restaurants, museums, beaches and fortifications of one of the oldest cities in Europe, dating back to the Phoenicians.

The apartment offers excellent WiFi, a TV, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, heating (for the cooler months), built-in cupboards and a 1.6m x 2m double bed. Bed linen and towels are included, though not beach towels.

The apartment is a short 10-minute walk to the nearest beach, the Caleta, or a short 5 minute bus ride to the large generous beaches of Playa Victoria.

In the same street as the apartment there is a puppet theatre, an archaeological museum and a public library, and it's just a one minute walk to the popular food market, selling excellent fresh fruit, veg, fish and meat.

There is reasonably-priced parking nearby, and free parking near the beaches – from there one can take a taxi or bus to the apartment. Within the city you can get around easily on foot. The main train station and bus station is a 10 minute walk away.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Ursula (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
