This modern, 1 bed apartment is located on the 2nd floor of an extremely attractive domed Residence within the Beal - a prestigious new development area in the heart of town. Cagnes-sur-mer is known as "3 Towns in One" since it consists of Cros-de-Cagnes - a seaside resort and old fishing village, the modern town centre with smart shops and indoor market and Haut-de-Cagnes - the historic medieval town perched above.

The large, sunny, south facing balcony overlooks the swimming pool and garden of the Residence. There are 3 doors out on to the balcony - making the apartment extremely light and airy, but if the summer sun gets too much there is built in air conditioning in the lounge, kitchen and bedroom.

The apartment is easily accessed by lift and there is underground parking available in a secure garage area (also accessed by lift).

The fitted kitchen boasts all built in appliances including an eye level fan assisted oven, halogen hob, built in combination microwave, large fridge and freezer, washer drier and all crockery, cutlery and utensils necessary to experiment with cooking the local cuisine. Fresh fish direct from the Mediterranean is plentifully available!

A granite dining table seating up to 5 is indoors or enjoy your meals on the large balcony (2 tables, 7 chairs, and 3 sun loungers provided).

The large living room has 2 French click clacks (sofa beds with very good mattresses), coffee tables, tv, DVD and hi-fi.

The airy bedroom has a double bed, built in wardrobe and bedside tables. There is plenty of room for luggage.

The bathroom has a bath with mixer shower tap and is fully tiled, with a built in vanity unit and heated towel rail.

Underground parking is extremely secure, with a lift directly up to the apartment.

All shops are within easy walking distance, including bakery, pharmacy, large supermarket, meat and local produce market and tourist office.

All means of public transport are very easily accessed on foot and there is a regular free shuttle bus running up to the old town.

There are all forms of water sports available on the beach and the very wide promenade is particularly popular. Excellent fish restaurants abound.

The smart horse racing course on the sea front is the second largest race course in France.

“A great place to stay”

The apartment is an ideal base & location for exploring the local area and coast. Suitable for adults & children it provided everything you needed for a very enjoyable & relaxing holiday for 2 to 4 people. Located near to all local amenities in a nice community shop s restaurants bars buses & trains. Walking distance to the beach where you can enjoy activities along the promenade cycling. running walking skating & just relaxing. Exploring the coastline by bus & train is a great way to visit different places at a very low cost, its difficult to return home!

This was my second stay in this flat. It is bright, well equipped and conveniently situated near the centre of Cagnes sur Mer. I did not need to hire a car to see all major places of interest on the Cote d'Azure, as there was cheap bus transport on the doorstep and the train station was about 15 minutes walk away. Having a large balcony and a pool meant that when I returned at the end of the day, I could chill out and relax in my home from home.

“Just what was needed”

We loved the overall location of this property. Cagne Sur Mer was close enough to the action of Nice and Antibes that we could easily enjoy it, but as a smaller community, was out of the tourist action generally. The apartment was perfect for a family with small children, with a large bed in the bedroom, and pull outs in the living room. Every night we were able to enjoy wine on the balcony while our little one slept soundly, and there was no need for sneaking around or avoiding area of the apartment. The pool allowed for an easy cool-down from the warm weather, which was good, because the beach, although close, was a little further than we expected. Amenities were easy to find with a daily market and supermarket close by and a playground for children of all ages. The train station was accessible, although we found that the bus service of the coast was very cheap and good, so we didn't use the trains much. A handy tip is that there is a bus service from the Airport in Nice, which passes RIGHT by the apartment, it was substantially cheaper than a taxi! We recommend that this be used by travelers. We would definitely stay here again. The price was right for a great holiday!
