A newly refurbished detached south facing home, Ciamaenor is on an elevated position with an enclosed sheltered large garden, enjoying magnificent sea views over Kenmare Bay. Terrace with garden furniture, hot tub and barbecue.

Situated on a quiet country road just 0.9 mile off the N70/ Ring of Kerry and 2 miles from Caherdaniel village for local pubs, shops and restaurants.

Our nearest beach, Rath, is a beautiful sandy beach situated just a short 7-minute stroll from the house. A hive of family activities can be found there with a safe area for kayaking, swimming, snorkelling and rock pools and an opportunity to meet with other friendly families. Free use of a kayak, basic mountain bikes and boogie boards available from the owner upon prior request. Wood burning hot tub if requested (extra charge)

Ciamaenor is situated in a very scenic area on the Ring of Kerry which is ideal for an activity holiday, golf break, walking the Kerry Way, touring or just a relaxing child friendly family holiday.

Derrynane National Park with long sandy beaches, water sports and surfing is situated 4 miles away. Horse riding and scuba diving nearby. Two 18-hole golf courses can be found in Waterville - 9 miles away- and Parknasilla golf course is a 20-minute drive from the house. Excellent deep sea, lake and river fishing in the locality and local rib rides and trips to Skellig Michael to visit the location for the latest Star Wars movie!

Inside: Newly furnished and equipped with an open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room with electric cooker and oven, TV with 6 local channels, WiFi, DVD player, bookcase and an open wood/peat burning fire.

A second lower level living room with a 43' TV, games cupboard for the young or young at heart on a wet day, hamper of Lego and patio doors to the driveway and garden. Two bathrooms (one with walk-in shower and W.C, other with bath and W.C ). Three bedrooms, one with king sized double, one double and one with two single beds, all rooms with vanity unit sinks. Extra roll away bed on request. Outside separate utility room with washing machine, dryer and a second fridge freezer. Child's travel cot and high-chair/booster seat available on request.

The home has recently been fully rewired with smoke detectors and fully insulated. Electric heating using night storage heaters or convector heaters in all rooms. Duvets/blankets. Dishwasher. Fridge/freezer. Microwave. Hair dryer. Music system. One small well-trained pet welcome on prior agreement only. NO SMOKING.

Please note, access to the main living areas of the house is either by front steps, an inside stair or a walk up the sloped grass.

How do damage deposits work?

If Alison (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
