Set amongst palms, vineyards, prickly pears and olive trees near the majestic Temple of Segesta and the SPA Terme Segestane, San Giovannello is a simple country house with the kind of peace and quiet that inspires complete and total relaxation.
Heat pump and a fireplace for winter comfort. SKY TV, 3G WIFI, Ipad-Iphone connectivity. A lot of oranges in the property.
The house has an open plan living room with kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom. The living room/kitchen leads directly onto a covered terrace with a barbecue, oven, and a dining table. The large swimming pool is not running in winter, but is always kept full of water, and the surrounding space is an alternative quiet corner.

Come cook with us! We invite you to come stay in our villa and learn to cook traditional Sicilian cuisine. We require a minimum stay of three days and three nights, but you can stay as long as you'd like. We recommend a stay of seven days and seven nights, giving you the chance to get to know the local flavor and explore the area on an excursion to Palermo, Egadi Islands, Mothia or other areas of interest (don’t worry, we’ll give you plenty of suggestions.) You’ll have time during these days to really unwind and embrace the Sicilian lifestyle, with long lingering meals, afternoon naps, and lazy fireplace looking at dusk.
Each cooking class will last roughly 3 hours (probably more like 4) and you will be the chef! We'll instruct you how to prepare everything, and let you get to know the texture, scent, feel, and quality of the ingredients we use. Of course, we only ever use our own estate-produced olive oil (100% organic, hand picked) and we're pretty sure you'll want to go home with a bottle of this smooth bright green luscious oil. Furthermore, you'll have access to however little or lot of local wine during the cooking class, and of course, to enjoy at the meal we'll all share together. After we've prepared the meal, we'll all sit down at our long farm table and enjoy the fruits of our labor. Cin cin! (cheers)
