From the owner

We own a lovely brick built chalet on California Sands Near Gt Yarmouth in Norfolk. It is lovingly furnished with a double bedroom and a treble bedroom, Double at the bottom and single bunk on top. We have a lovely remote controlled electric fire and 3 piece in the lounge. This is a lovely warm chalet a real home from home. There is a fully fitted kitchen which is clean and well equipped a bathroom with a full bath and shower over. We offer discounts on request for couples, where only one lot of bedding is required. We also discount longer term lets, please ask for details. The site has full entertainment in school holidays and entertainment throughout the holiday season. We provide all passes for the club on site Club Oasis and you also get free entry to Dutchy's Bar and the California Tavern down the road. The beach is straight down the road a 5 minute walk and Hemsby is a 20 min walk away and a 5 min drive. Great Yarmouth is 4 miles away and the bus stops outside the site. We have had several guests with limited mobility and they love the electric riser /recliner chair in the lounge. We own 3 chalets on site so larger family groups are welcome. A travel cot is provided for free. This chalet has a lovely sunny patio complete with table and chairs. The Swimming pool is open from April to Oct and is pay as you swim.. Electricity is provided by a pound coin meter. We have not used holiday lettings for a couple of years as we are so popular with returning guests, however as we changed our minds about selling up we will be using this platform this year. Please feel free to ask any questions as your holiday memories are important to us and you need to book the correct accommodation for your needs. We do allow well behaved pets in this property as long as the pet policy contract is followed.

House rules

.There are site rules and a pet policy which will need to be abided by. These will be emailed to you within your 24 hr cancellation period allowed by the booking company. There is NO SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE THE CHALETS. If you choose to smoke outside r please ensure that windows and doors are closed. We are Covid aware and have had to change time of entry to 3 and exit to 10. We have removed all extras games etc to allow for extra cleaning time. If you are ill please do not travel to us.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Clara & Carol (the owner) a message.

If Clara & Carol (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
