Our own spacious (No Smoking) duplex apartment with 3 large bedrooms arranged over 2 floors with 180 sq metres of living space. There are 3 bathrooms, one on the first floor and the other 2 are en-suite to the top floor bedrooms. As soon as you enter you get a feeling of space. The apartment was fully furnished by us from new to a high comfortable standard. It is ideal for families or parties.

Sunshine Apartments are located in a tranquil area of Calis (pronounced Chalis) a 10 minute walk from the centre of Calis, the pedestrianised promenade and beach. There are local shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The popular Calis Sunday market is located just a few minutes walk from the apartment.

Luxury apartment fully equipped for self catering, with a well appointed kitchen including washing machine and dishwasher. The kitchen and lounge area are L shaped, open plan and spacious. The lounge area has two settees, one L shaped giving comfortable seating for 6 and access to the wrap-around balconies, there is a flat screen TV, satellite, DVD player. Air conditioning throughout.

The first floor twin bedroom is a good size twin with wrap around balcony area and patio doors to access, adjacent is the toilet /shower room. The second floor has 2 generous double bedrooms (each around 20m2) both have their own balcony areas with mountain views. One bedroom has a large en-suite with shower and toilet. The main bedroom has a large en suite bathroom with overhead shower.

There are wrap-around balconies on both sides of the apartment with tables and chairs available for relaxing or dining. During the day you can choose to sit in the sun or shade to eat (or snooze) From the top floor rooms there are lovely views of the mountains and towards the Fethiye area.

The apartment is situated in a small well maintained complex of 20 apartments of 4 low level blocks all overlooking the pool area. Grounds include grassed areas to relax in and a large communal sun-bathing area by the poolside. Children and adults will enjoy swimming or cooling off in the turtle shaped pool whose head is a children's splash pool.

There are plenty of things to do locally from the apartment including crazy golf, a gym, tennis and the Aqua waterpark is great fun for the children (both old and young!) Further a field are the Rock Tombs, Saklikent Gorge, Pamukkale, Hisarouno and Olu Deniz and for the more adventurous day trips to Rhodes. No holiday would be complete without a boat trip around the 12 islands which start in the stunning Fethiye Harbour. (Trips best booked in the harbour)

Getting Around

There are 4 bikes for your use, extra bikes are available to rent locally. This is a pleasant way to explore the area and to get to the centre of Fethiye via the newly extended promenade.

Public transport is very accessable, either by the local dolmus (minibuses) or larger buses. There are dolmus stops nearby that can take you into Fethiye. Olu Deniz and Hisaronou are easily accessible via the dolmus too. Another option for a trip to Fethiye is to use the water taxi station from the centre of Calis. This takes a bit longer but is worth it for the spectacular views.

Wi-Fi is widely available in nearly all the bars/resturants in Calis and Fethiye. The nearest bar/resturant with free Wi-Fi is about 100 metres away.

If you would like Wi-Fi in the apartment for your laptop or ipad, you can purchase a dongle with a Turkish sim card (inc 4gb usage) for around 120tlr (approx £40 ) at any Turkcell shop.

The apartment will be cleaned prior to your stay and the beds made for your arrival. Fresh linen and towels are provided. Beach towels are not provided. Instructions for the washing machine, dishwasher, TV and DVD player etc are all in the apartment if you need them. The TV is compatible for use with laptops should you wish to watch films from your laptop on TV.

There are wardrobes in all bedrooms and dressing tables in the top floor bedrooms plus plenty of drawer space. A hairdryer is provided in the main bedroom. All the bedrooms have air conditioning and balcony access. A built in BBQ is available on first floor balcony.The kitchen has seating for four and there is a table and chairs on the main wrap around balcony leading from the lounge so you can dine inside or out. All first floor balconies have seating and tables. Two safes are available for use.

There are four sun loungers and sun umbrella which can be placed any where around the pool or communal garden area. The pools are cleaned daily.

There is an outside shower which you are expected to use before entering the pool.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mike and Dawn (the owner) a message.

If Mike and Dawn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
