Lakeside cottage is set within the 4 acre grounds of Trehill Cottages, an idyllic lakeside holiday cottage complex in Callington, SE Cornwall.

Trehill has a stunning hilltop location in the heart of the Tamar Valley with free on-site fishing & great leisure facilities!

When you arrive at Trehill cottages, you know you have arrived at a special place. Gorgeous converted farm buildings, 4 sunny acres of beautiful grounds & a plateau location with views far afield over the Cornish countryside.

There are 4 delightful cottages here (with 3 more on the adjacent Long Barn Cottages).

Inside you will find well equipped kitchens & delightful furnishings and outside there is so much to do. Why not...

Lakeside cottage occupies a stunning location just feet from the main Trehill fishing pond. This is a lovely spacious cottage for 5 people. The lounge is well-proportioned with slate floors and wood beams.

Hot tub - superb 5 seater Jacuzzi hot tub, right by your front door!. There is an extra charge of £60/week or £40/short break for this

Membership at the China Fleet club - Just a few miles away. It boasts superb leisure facilities as well as a championship golf course. You just pay for what you want to access. Prices accurate as of 2020 (child)

Living...

The large main lounge, has beautiful slate flooring and comfortable leather sofas with widescreen LCD TV and gas fire.

There is also a well equipped kitchen with fridge freezer, oven, ceramic hob and dishwasher. The separate dining area has lovely lake views.

Useful entrance annexe with seating & space to leave fishing gear/wellies etc.

Sleeping...

There are 3 Bedrooms along with 2 bath/shower rooms. There is a double room with king bed & french windows that give out onto the marvellous upstairs balcony. Sunny for almost the entire day with great views over the lakes, you can literally see for miles!

There is also a good sized twin room and single bedroom. The twin also has lake views.

There are 2 shower rooms with walk-in shower enclosure.

Outside...

There is a good sized deck with picnic table and a barbeque right by the lake.

Enjoyable fishing stay

Very nice cottage & even though it was cold out, heating was good inside. Just feet from the lake, so perfect for a fishing trip. Biggest fish we caught was 15lbs, so good fishing. We will be back

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Holiday Cottages (the owner) a message.

If Holiday Cottages (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
