We have lived here for 15 years and have loved every minute.This is our family home a private villa which we let out when business takes us to the UK for longish periods. Set among the Empedrola community on the outskirts of Calpe, this modern property has been stylishly furnished throughout & enjoys beautiful well kept gardens which surround the 9 by 5 swimming pool, sun terrace & bar/BBQ. The property is totally secure & on one level and is suitable for those requiring wheel chair access. The lounge & bedrooms have patio doors onto the garden area.

Ideal for el fresco dining, lounging around in the garden and out door living.

Calpe is a near perfect combination of romantic village together with sun and beach. In between Altea to the south and Javea to the north, Calpe with its about 13000 inhabitants is known for its rock called the penon de lfach. This massive rock has been inspiring people from everywhere to come and enjoy the nearly perfect view around the bays and the Costa Blanca. The national road N332 really gives you the kind of holiday feeling as it leads you to Calpe along the coast from Alicante.

Getting around

There is a good bus service in town, its cheap and convenient if you do not have your own transport. We would however recommend hiring a car to see more of the surrounding area.

Interaction with guest

Pick up the keys from the key safe at the front door - feel free to come and go as you please. This is your place for the duration of your holiday. Expect the pool man to call during your stay, to clean and maintain the chemicals.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Michelle (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
