The Longère is a tastefully restored 17th century dwelling, maintaining many original features such as stone walls, solid wood floors and oak beams throughout. The large, comfortable lounge area has ample space to relax and unwind.The spacious kitchen and dining area contains all the modern conveniences you could possibly need. A handcrafted solid wood staircase leads to 4 bedrooms, 2 double and 2 twin - all with character features. There are 2 shower rooms with wc and basin.

At the rear is a private area containing a traditional Breton barbecue and alfresco eating area, beyond is a large communal garden and heated 10 x 4m swimming pool. Parking is at the front of the property.

Gites de Camors are beautiful 17th Century properties fully restored with bags of character using traditional local materials throughout. Set in stunning Breton countryside. A perfect relaxing retreat, yet close to all the amenities you could wish for. As this is also our home we are always around should you need anything.

Although we are in the heart of the Breton countryside, surrounded by fields and forests, we are only 3km from our local village and 7km from Baud where you can get everything you need.

The Longère is spacious, light and airy, the lounge has all the comforts one would expect from a lovingly restored Breton home. The is a smart TV, Satellite TV and an extensive DVD library. We also provide reading books, Toy boxes for the children. There is high speed Wifi throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large gas oven, Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave Toaster, Kettle and a large fridge freezer. The farmhouse style dining table has ample space for 8 adults, plus highchairs. The 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms have been tastefully renovated to ensure the maximum comfort one would wish for in a holiday. There is ample space in each bedroom to accommodate one of our travel cots. Also there are 2 newly refurbished bathrooms.

As well as the private alfresco dining area complete with traditional Breton stone BBQ there a large communal garden, where one can sit, relax and enjoy the scenery or play with the garden games we provide. The gardens at the property allow beautiful views of the surrounding woodland and countryside, whilst maintaining an air of privacy. We provide sun loungers for relaxing by the pool and in the garden. The heated swimming pool is child friendly and is cleaned and maintained on a daily basis.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Stewart and Tamsin (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Stewart and Tamsin (the owner) a message.

If Stewart and Tamsin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
