The Nourhoët Nest in the wood At the edge of a grove, at the door of Brocéliande and close to major roads serving Rennes, Vannes and Lorient, nestled the cottage / guest house freshly completed. In the outbuilding of a traditional house, a new comfortable apartment overlooks the grove. A few steps and you are on a spacious terrace, furnished, giving access to the cozy cocoon. The place is bathed by the sun and wide open on the surrounding countryside. For two or four people, it will be both a haven for a couple on a romantic excursion as the starting point for great adventures with family or friends. A sweet perfume of verbena and mint accompanies your discovery of the places: exposed beams, wrought iron, wooden floor of country, refined and elegant decoration, for an immediate feeling of authenticity. The place has a soul: some furniture has been found, while others are the creations of Christian, a craftsman. A kitchen area will allow you to be independent if you wish and to prepare your own meals. At your disposal the products of first necessity, the coffee, a choice of teas. Any stay should be an opportunity to take time for yourself, get out of everyday life and relax. So it goes through the pleasure of the table, but also by taking care of yourself. The bathroom is beautifully arranged and a large shower will invite you to relax after a day of hiking in Brocéliande. A hike of which you will have gleaned the route in one of the guides put at your disposal for example: The castle of Trécesson is close, like the Tomb of the Giants or the Val without Return. Or why not be tempted by a bike ride on the greenway or along the canal from Nantes to Brest? Finally, both rooms. One with a bed of 160 by 200 and the other in mezzanine with twin beds, to reconcile at your leisure. For your comfort, special attention has been paid to the bedding. The rooms are simply furnished in the natural spirit of the place. Authentic, friendly, warm, soothing are the key words of the place, and by the same token, your stay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Marie-christine (the owner) a message.

If Marie-christine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
