Two one-bedroom villas located in the village of Candidasa in Karangasem Regency on Bali’s north-eastern coast.

Approximately 70 minutes drive from the island’s domestic and international Ngurah Rai airport.

Easy walking distance to numerous top-class restaurants, cafes and local warungs, the beach, shops and ATMs.

Close to some of the best snorkelling and scuba diving in Bali, trekking in the rice-fields, fishing, surfing and numerous other activities.

Kupu Kupu Villa is accessed by steps and a new pathway, but has no direct road access so may not be suitable for the physically challenged or very young children.

Car and motor-bike parking within easy walking distance.

There is a massage table and a visit from masseurs from the local village can be arranged on request.

Beautiful views from both verandahs to the sea and rice padis, corn fields, banana plantations and coconut groves below.

Daily breakfasts and cleaning by staff included in the tariff.

Other tasty Balinese meals can be arranged on request.

Self catering kitchens with tea and coffee provided.

Both queen-sized bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Ceiling fans in all rooms.

The private pool is deep so may not be suitable for toddlers unless constantly supervised.

There is a small library for guests' convenience.

Use of the second villa (downstairs) incurs an additional charge dependent on numbers and age of guest(s).

To comply with local (village banjar) tourism regulations guests must provide passport details and a Rp50000 ($AUS 5) per adult Police registration fee at the time of checking in.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Peter (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Peter (the owner) a message.

If Peter (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
