Villa Gils is a wonderful family retreat, tucked away in peaceful Candi Dasa, right by the sand and the sea of the east coast in Bali. Everything needed to unwind completely this holiday on the Island of the Gods! Villa Gils fuses modern and traditional elements, allowing guests to holiday the tropical way without having to miss out on modern comforts. The living pavilion of Villa Gils is designed open-plan to the garden, overlooking the crystal clear water of the swimming pool. The cocktail bar makes a great spot to sit and sip a few drinks together with loved ones as the kids run on the manicured lawn of the garden or swim in the pool. Comfy daybeds and sofas on each side of the cocktail bar provide nice places to curl up with something to read or to gather for a cozy movie evening, watching a blockbuster film on the flat-screen TV with DVD-player. Lovers of the sweet tropical island lifestyle will be spending lots of time in the garden, dining alfresco in the poolside dining bale, reading a book in the shady gazebo tucked with day beds or even indulging a traditional Balinese massage. The garden is lush green and utterly peaceful, planted with towering palm trees and flowering plants. In the heart of the garden lies the inviting 25-meter swimming pool where you can swim laps while kids have water fun in the shallow wading pool, separated from the main pool by stepping stones in the water. After a cool off in the refreshing water, soak up the sun to catch that gorgeous tan to take home with you, or take a daytime nap in the shade of a parasol.

Villa Gils houses a total of 4 air-conditioned bedroom suites. The master bedroom is located upstairs, beneath the stunning alang-alang rooftop of the main house and adjoined to the upper breezy balcony with magnificent ocean view. The perfect spot in the villa for relaxing, reading or indulging an in-villa spa treatment to the sound of the sea. Guests will sleep perfectly on the quality king-size bed draped by a white mosquito net and the en-suite bathroom features an open-air design for bathing and showering beneath the starry night sky or in the early morning sun. The master suite is located side by side to the twin-bedded junior suite that can be configured into a king-size bed, making it an ideal family compound. Two more restful villa suites are found on the ground level of the estate, each adjoined by a private veranda that looks out onto the swimming pool. Both of these rooms feature king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms with outdoor shower facilities. Extra baby cots are available free of charge for guests staying at Villa Gils.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
