From the owner

In a riverside apartment, just a few minutes from the historic center of Treviso, double bed bedroom with en suite bathroom, with access to the garden where, but only during the summer months, there is a a small swimming pool. Venice is 20km.

The room overlooks the garden that is protected by old trees and surrounded by the silence of the pedestrian embankment of the Sile river, which runs through Treviso. TV set and VCR with a collection of films. On the bedside table there is always a book that welcomes the guest.

We can rent out bicycles for our guests that want to get aroung more easily in the city or ride along the Lungosile up to Casale: in about half an hour you can visit the charming “Graveyard of Burci” where the old boats, once used to transport the goods to Venice, lie abandonrd among the reeds of the river.

The Fiera area, where the apartment is located, is just outside the old walls of Treviso; it owes its name to the ancient Cattle Fair held there, along the river Sile, the waterway that ensured the connection between Venice and the mainland.
The embankment of the Sile river, once dotted with mills and the houses of shipowners and boatsmen , was the first industrial area of Treviso, Now the factories are gone. located far from the city, and the old fairgrounds are a charming place for walks and bike rides through the trees and the tranquil flow of the river with its swans, ducks and coots.
