From the owner

Oak, Chestnut and Walnut cottages are stone-built in traditional Normandy style and have two double and two twin-bed rooms, a family bathroom with bath, washbasin, and wc, and a shower room with multi-jet shower, washbasin and wc. The shower/toilet room in Oak Cottage is located on the ground floor and is immediately adjacent to a double bedroom, making it very convenient for grandparents or elderly guests.

Each gite has a spacious lounge with a comfortable sofa and easy chairs, satellite tv to receive English freeview channels and French language television., a DVD/CD player and a fully equipped kitchen with oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer, and a dining room with seating for up to eight people. Internet access is provided, as of course is all bed linen and towels, though guests are asked to bring their own beach towels. In each gite there is also a hairdryer, iron and ironing board and clothes airer. There is also a good selection of books and DVD's and a large selection of literature regarding places of interest and leisure facilities in the area, there are also a selection of board games and children’s toys .

To complement the exceedingly high standard of internal accommodation, each gite has its own patio area with table and chairs and its own bbq. The patios each open out into an extensive fully enclosed garden with children's swings, slide and trampoline, table tennis table and Aladdin's Cave full of children's toys, bats and balls. The property is approached by a separate driveway, has ample enclosed parking, and is just as ideal for families with young children as it is for couples and friends who want this convivial atmosphere from which to enjoy the delights of Normandy.

Why can't I call Terry (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Terry (the owner) a message.

If Terry (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
