Enjoying prestigious surroundings in the beautifully renovated Villa Isella residence in Carlazzo, this spacious 2 bedroom duplex apartment offers the ideal escape in the breath taking Italian Lake District.

The apartment is situated to the second floor of the villa property which enjoys tranquil landscaped mountain-view grounds and provides the perfect mix of holiday luxury and self-catering freedom.

The contemporary apartment enjoys a spacious open plan living and dining area with a fully fitted kitchen to provide all the modern day home from home comforts in a relaxed holiday home environment.

The sitting area is perfect for relaxing at the end of a busy day of exploring the lakes, with a wall mounted TV and a pair of stylish sofas.

The kitchen is ideal for preparing delicious home cooked meals and provides a gas hob, eye level oven, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. The dining area can comfortably seat four guests in an informal and relaxed setting and alfresco dining can also be enjoyed in the shared garden’s picnic and BBQ area outside.

From the open plan living area wooden stairs lead to the upper level where the stylish sleeping accommodation is provided. Here guests of up to 4 can comfortably be accommodated with a spacious master double bedroom with partial mountain-view and a twin single bedroom ideal for 2 further guests. High beamed ceilings add a romantic charm to the bedrooms and complement the contemporary furniture very well.

A spacious and modern bathroom fitted with a bath tub, overhead shower, wash basin, WC and bidet completes the internal accommodation of this lovely high quality holiday home.

Guests can quite easily enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the villa surroundings during their stay, which comprises a landscaped sunny front lawn with matures trees, an outdoor swimming pool with changing area and a stone picnic table with stone built BBQ for guests use and enjoyment. A wonderfully preserved historical chapel is also located by the villa providing a lovely sense of charm and character to these noble and picturesque surroundings.

Please be aware that Villa Isella Mansarda apartment is a private residence and not a holiday complex and as such there are condominium rules that enable all residents and guests to have a relaxed and wonderful holiday experience. Guests are reminded of this in the information they are given.

Parking is provided just outside the entrance of the stone gate posts to the villa and the nearby amenities of Porlezza are just moments away by car.

Please note the road to reach the property is quite narrow and we suggest to come with a small/medium car as the last part to reach the complex is about 2.5 meters long.

Guests can enjoy dining out every day of the week if they wish, with a wide and varied selection of nearby restaurants to enjoy on Lake Como and Lake Lugano! From authentic and inexpensive Pizzerias, highly-recommended country-style ‘Agriturismi’ to fine lake front dining opportunities in award-winning restaurants; the choice is yours!

The nearby surroundings are perfect for exploring the great outdoors with mountain biking in the Lago di Piano nature reserve, horse riding in the Porlezza countryside and golf in the prestigious Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf club. Other activities include tennis, sailing, canoeing, lake swimming, power boat hire, visiting the beautiful villa and garden attractions on the central lake of Lake Como and enjoying the cosmopolitan highlights of the Swiss lake capital of Lugano.
