Villa Carvoeiro Alfanzina is a rustic, privately owned, family villa in a 2000m2 fully enclosed private garden.

The villa has spacious living with a rustic fireplace and patio doors leading onto the large garden with a covered outside barbeque terrace. Inside, the fully equiped kitchen leads to the dining room comfortably sits eight for your dinner.

There are 2 double bedrooms- 1 the main bedroom ensuite with is own batroom- and a triple room -2 single bed ,1 sofa bed (1,20/190)-1 bathroom. There are as well an extra single bed (70/180)that can be placed in one of the double rooms or in the living room.

Villa Carvoeiro Alfanzina is situated 10 minutes from the old fishing town of Carvoeiro with its numerous shops and restaurants. Several beautiful private beaches are just 5 minutes away and it is just a short drive to the stunning scenery of the Serra de Monchique.

Close by are many Golf courses like Vale do Milho, The Pestana Golf Resort, and Penina just a few minutes drive away.

Outside, there is a large swimming pool surrounded by terrace, sunbeds and enclosed landscaped gardens with Palm trees, and some lemon trees.

The covered patio and barbeque area overlooks the swimming pool. The perfect place for day or evening dining or the ideal place for an afternoon rest in the shade!

Satelite Out of Order Due to Strange Objet Thanks for the apealling tittle and for the nice object found at the Satellite disk blocking the sinal when of check-out so guests arriving that day would not had the chance to look TV and give a bad impression for the new guests arriving and cause damage to guests and myself as well a broken mecanism from the toillet was left behind when it was in good condition for all stay. Despite all evidences and witnisses I decided not to apply for the damage deposit . Since 2013 this is the only review that is not god and that is due to only one reason, guests did not wanted to pay from the first moment the late check-out as agreed before arrival only 1/3 of one night stay and that day could not be sold as calendar was blocked for them and it was a check-out from 6pm. I was not expecting a good review as I am afraid I had to push guests to pay what was agreed in advance before arrival. People should meet their comitments. As if I had put the extra money down the review it would had been a good one I believe but agreements are agreements. I would like to clear up some issues Regarding kitchen is it is only 8 years old, it has a gas cooker but everything works and are in good condition of use and cleaned, there are the normal wear and tear. The cups are enough and guests never complained or asked for more cups or anything else despite for several times I asked them if there was something needed or if everything was ok . At the late arrival on a Saturday night guests did not payed for late check-out as agreed or mencioned the fact during their 12 day stay despite we were meetting each other and switched messages. Only when I came to say goodbye and collect money they were saying I should not get the money due to things they were not happy and never mencioned before, until than everything was perfect. Only at the departure day at 10am check-out time and after asking for keys back they paid me the extra saying they should not pay for it. There are things that have to be clearead up and does corresponde to the truth Barking dogs was never mencioned and the dogs of the neighbours sleep inside the house, as well I never had a complain from partys and noise at night and guests even at the departure day never mencioned to me, so if they were not be able to sleep for 12 nights why they never complained to me ? I could had invsetigate and done something if that was really happenning. How could people stay so happy for 12 days with no sleep ? Something stange in the horizon, or maybe not..... Regarding locks The shutthers lock was damaged and keys broken inside-due to putting key at a wrong position -from previous guests that left same day, the maintenance was called took out the lock and as it was Weekend only on Monday they could replace it, so guests arrived Saturday evening and on Monday lock was fixed as on Sundays it is no easy for this kind of repairs for obvious reasons. Clients when mencioned it did not seemed worried at all, the doors itself have a lock from the inside only the shutters did not have , if they would not feel secure / safe they would had said, things like this can happen at any type of accomodation any place of the world and sometimes it is not possible to solve it at the same minute. The other door was in good condition and guests before never compained about it only when maitenance man came on Monday they told me the main door lock seemed a bit hard and the toillet seemed to take a long time to fill Regarding Toillet Maintenance man opened the tank but guests had already opened the tank and pull out the mecanism. Everything was in order before their arrival. Mecanism from tanks / brands are different and some take a longer time than others to fill in, that does not it is damage , guests damage it, if they find something is not good for them contact owner / manager. Maintenance man fix the mecanism that was pulled out and myself a week later when going to the villa for changing and cleaning tried several times and toillet was working in good condition, at the guests departure mecanism was broken. Regarding septic tank has to be done periodically before season starts and when it is full,( what takes less than half an hour and does not make any disturbance to guests ) does not have anything to do how old villa is the septic tanks , almost all the area around Lagoa / Carvoeiro the villas are not connected to the main drain due to Towlhall polices not the owners fault. Regarding toillet paper to be flushed into toillet that it is not only a question of septic but essencially an evironmental problem, people should be aware of it, and it is not only for the paper but as well higienical disposals. More and more people should worry about environmental issues like this day by day things. Regarding internet just for a couple of hours the net was out but guests were not too worried only after paying the extra it seems only bad things happened at the villa. I think a tried my best to please clients as I always do but that was not enough on this case as a mid- cleaning is not included and that has been done with no costs for the guests. Satelite was working in good condition and when of check-out stopped working due to an object stuck in the metal pices of disk signal hole, that is something to remenber All my previous guests know that I always do my best but a commitment it a comitment and I can not recomend this guests for obvious reasons.
