Villa Lorizon is a unique style and charming villa of 240 qm² to rent in Rodrigues, the neighbour Island of Mauritius; The Villa has magnificent Views on the ocean and is only 8 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Graviers; Villa Lorizon comes with a private pool, air condition, good wifi and also a chimney for cosy evenings. Not to forget small details as 4 long chairs, Alexa for you own music, Nespresso , IP TV, mosquito net also for the 2 baby cots, high chair, ventilators .. and a hamac under the coconuts. Housekeeper who cooks your purchases for Lunch.

The name say’s everything: Enjoy beautiful Views on the Horizon, as well as sunrise and moonrise. All the pink roofs you see on the pictures are “ one and only Lorizon” , including laundry and garden house.

Location

Villa Lorizon is one-hour flight from Mauritius and in the east of Rodrigues. The villa is located in Trois Soleils, indeed a very good point to get everywhere fast; Especially to the beaches of Fumier, Gravier and St. François in 8 min by car, as well as the town of Mont Lubin where you have the daily market. In addition, there is a little supermarket in 5 minutes by car for basics.

Villa Lorizon is built in a typical style, fresh colours, wooden furniture, quiet and cosy, made for nature lovers thus it has a special effect on each visitor when visiting for the first time.

The villa lies on a property of 3000 m2 including coconut trees, citrus and mango trees and therefore calm.

You need only 8 minutes to get to the diving and kite spots Mourouk by car, scooter, or motorbike (we can arrange the rental for you). The access by a cemented Track Road is easy for all vehicles.

Details

We rent the house for 1 - 4 people for your comfort, alternatively 4 more people/teenagers can join you. We invite you to read the description of the rooms.

Beside the barbecue in the garden, you can use the chimney too for grilling.

Importantly, note that the villa has no specific security for children; the pool is not fenced. Children are most welcome at Villa Lorizon, only under your own care and full responsibility.

We have Optic Fibre internet connection now at Lorizon, as well as IPTV with more than 900 channels in all languages. You can watch Tennis, Football, Formula 1, Rugby ect ect.

Enjoy the 3 different spots for dining, mostly the 2 outside tables, front and back of the villa or the large table in the living room.

Service

A housekeeper along with a gardener are at your service. Whereas he cooks your groceries for an Extra fee, and organises not only fresh fish and lobster but also boat tours and fishing in the lagoon, she comes 3x/week and does the beds, laundry, ironing and cleaning . He works 3 x/week except Sundays and public holidays. Food and Beverage are not included.

Bring along your sneakers! Mireille, who is specialised and who knows the Island very well, will propose to you , at an inexpensive fee, beautiful and easy walks to discover Rodrigues.

Our Masseuse at Lorizon comes on demand.

Bedroom 1:

the main bedroom is a large suite with Air Condition, including

- a four-poster bed 2 m x 1.80 m with views on pool and ocean. All the same, enjoy the sunrise from the bed (5:30 am!).

- A Mezzanine with table and chairs which serves as little office, (with your own laptop);

- Moreover, the large space with many cushions is a heaven to relax and read a book

- A walk-in closet and large mirror

- Finally, a spacious bathroom with Italian shower, 2 sinks, W.C., bidet

Bed 2

is a small mezzanine with a king-size bed 2 m x 1.80 m overlooking the entrance and kitchen, where there is a bathroom with Shower, sink, WC. The Mezazanine is the Youngster’s Paradise (over 10 yrs), although we personally love it too!

Bedroom 3

in a separate house 20 meters next to the main house. It is one large room with air condition and a King size bed, 2 x 1.80 m and a Mezzanine , with a king-size bed 2 m x 1.80 m. It suits 1 couple plus 2 Youngsters over 10. Or 4 Teenagers who will adore it!

It has a bathroom with shower, sink, WC. A kitchenette with microwave and Nespresso machine, a terrace with sofa chairs, table, 2 long chairs.

Although it is separate, this bedroom no. 3 is part of the entire Lorizon. Which means, if there are only 2 people staying in the main house, this room stays empty and will not be rented separately. It does not matter if you’re a group of 4 .. 6 .. 8, or just a couple seeking privacy : the entire property is yours, nothing will be shared with anyone else.

Other

The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge and freezer, including Toaster, Kettle, Nespresso machine, Filter Coffee machine, Rice cooker, Microwave ect.

In addition, we have 2 baby cot with mosquito net ; 2 outdoor showers, Alexa, Bluetooth docking station, IPTV, MyT Tv, Netflix.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
