The property is located nearby the Ionian sea at 3 km. The location is Marina di Castellaneta (TA) PUGLIA, which is famous for Trulli and Alberobello UNESCO heritage. Puglia is also famous for another Unesco heritage which is " Del Monte Castle. Castellaneta Marina is also very close to another Unesco heritage " Matera Stones". The property has two levels and it is in front of a golf court "Riva dei Tessali. Two balconies are in front of the golf court at 2 meters of distance .It Is a villa very comfortable , part of a village composed by 100 other villas with a forest of 90 hectars of pine trees where it is possible doing jogging. There are also one splendid swimming pool, one tennis court, one football court (for 5 people team each) There is also a "square" called " Piazzetta" where there is one lounge bar, one food shop, one restaurant- pizzeria. At the village ( Città del Catalano) entrance there is the concierge. The village is still under construction for some villas so that some villas are note completed.
On May and June the swimming pool, restaurant , lounge bar and food shop inside the village could not be opened yet. In such case nearby there are supermarkets , bar and restaurants always opened at around 3 km of distance .
Anyway please ask to property since there should be the possibility that bar, restaurant and food shop , inside the village , could be opened on May and June. The swimming pool will be opened till half of september.
In the autumn and winter months the village is always opened and the reception at the entrance is opened 24 hours. But restaurant, bar and food shop are not opened. It takes about 5 minutes by car for reaching a small city called GINOSA Marina where the guest can find all the shops, supermarkets, bars.
The property has all the comforts with one big hall, one kitchen with oven, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, big sofa inside and outside in the garden with lawn There are three bathrooms in the house.. The villa is very recent and luxury furnished. Air conditioning is in all the rooms. Three bedrooms are upstair with two bathrooms.. There are two closets; one downstairs and one upstairs . There is also a new ping pong table. Since the villa is quite big another person could sleep downstairs and another bed could be added in the current single room. It is very well furnished since it was my personal villa.
The sea has several Kilometers of beaches with white sand. The sea is always calm. Some beaches are free of charge while others you shoudl pay the entrance. Nearby, two small towns are very close , both at about 3 miles of distance.
Taranto ( a town of 220,000 people living) is far at about 23 miles of highway. In Taranto you could visit the important NATIONAL MUSEUM with ancient Greek and Roman reperts; The ARAGONESE castle and the turning bridge; You could rent a boat sharing with other people the visit of the town by sea or you could go to the Island SAN PIETRO. If you like , you can also rent a private boat for 4-6 people organizing a trip in the GULF OF TARANTO. A lot of public spectacles are organized in the main cities nearby. Close to the village (at arounf 5 kilometers you could have the experience of RAFTING. MOUNTAINS are in the closest region of Basilicata at less than 70 Kilometers.
Accomodation is suitable for families with children. The atmosphere is unique in a special territory in Southern part of Italy . If you come you could decide what to do, having a complete relax, since the villa is in front of a golf court and trees all around , far from the others or if you prefer you can spend your time with other people in the village or outside. At a distance of few kilometers you have the chance of visiting a lot of wonderful sites. Metaponto at around 10 km with Ancient Greek ruins , or Sassi of Matera ( Hunesco Heritage) . Laterza with his " Grand Canyon ". http://eunis.eea.europa.eu/sites/IT9130007/geo . At about 50 Kilometers you could visit Alberobello ( Unesco Heritage) or Castellana grotte (caves ).. Martina Franca ( baroque town) , Locorotondo and much more.
